I have a similar one but mine is the Bulldog Pad from Sorinex. I love my Bulldog pad and I just use it for chest supported rows. Unfortunately I paid over $600 custom color and paint job but it is wonderful!! Good review btw.
If I didn’t have the Monster Lite rack, I would have definitely bought the Bulldog Pad from Sorinex. The price was a bit up there but due to the 1 inch holes only, it wasn’t an option for me. Glad you love the pad, I bet that custom color is nice!!
Great review. I like that you didn't just tell us the dimensions but showed the tape measure as well... I was curious how much space was between the rack and the pad if I were to use it as a seat in the flat position, and your tape measure makes it pretty clear that it's 10 inches
I went with the Infinity arm. I think it's an overall better product compared to all the big chest supported row options out there. The only one that I think would be better for certain applications is rogues version and that only for people who want to do something closer to a t-bar row which would be nice if it wasn't such a spatial nightmare to take on and off. But for this purpose I'm going to recommend Infinity arm to people because I don't know why it doesn't get the same publicity as these other options
Good info here. Definitely a steal for 1in hole racks if you have the Kaizen adapters! In my review on the adapters I shared the discount code if any one is looking for them too
Great review, while i understand that the recommendation is to bolt down your rack before using an attachment like this, I really don't want to drill into my basement. What are your thoughts? Is your rack bolted?
Thank you!! I actually don’t have my rack bolted down but I always make sure I have weight on the back plate storage posts that weight it down a bit. So it’s gonna depend on the rack, your body weight and the added weight you use but for me, it’s very solid. Definitely use your best judgement though!!
Tim-I love you bro, but I also hate you for having this right now😂 Jealous! It looks awesome, and reverse flies were the first thing after rows that came to mind when watching this. Great review, and super cool piece!
I don't know if you can truly do "seal rows" with this attachment, it's more of a chest supported row attachment, the point of seal rows is to take your legs completely out of the row, with this attachment you'd need to insure your legs be perfectly prone, regardless, apparently my gym just ordered one, so I'm interested to try it, especially for reverse dumbbell flys.
Yeah, you’d need to add a plyo-box or some other platform for your feet to make it a true seal row. It’s still a nice attachment for chest supported rows and reverse flys though. Let me know your thoughts when it arrives at your gym.
What specifically was the issue with benching? Do you think it would have worked better for benching if the pad extended down several more inches, or would it have to extend down to your tailbone to make a big improvement in benching?
I felt it in my lower back when benching so it might help w a longer pad but personally it’s not stable enough for me to want to bench heavy. Plus you can’t kick up the weight unless you did one leg at a time and balanced, so unless you can hammer curl the weight your pressing, there are just better options to avoid injury. This of course is my opinion which is why I put out the videos, so everyone can make an informed decision.
what is the length distance between the pin and the secondary safety hitch pin to lock into upfront post of rack? I plan to use this as a lat pull down seat on my monster lite rack. please let me know thanks.
@@MetalsForBrunch not 100% sure what your asking but the welded pin to the pin that holds it in place is 6 inches on center. Looking at almost 10 in a half from upright front to the start of the seat pad. Hope I covered what you needed. Let me know if I didn’t.
I haven’t used the revolt one but from what I can see, revolt is a bolt on attachment. BOS is easily adjustable with their design so that was important to me because changing height is nice depending on what exercise. Besides that, they are similar. Depending on what rack you have, the bolt on design might be better since the BOS is specific to upright dimensions such as mine is a true 3x3.
@@mariolp2999 just letting you know I’m not actually affiliated with Bells of Steel, this is an independent review where I paid for the equipment with my own money.
So glad BOS made attachments ready to roll with a true 3/3 5/8 inch racks
Me too, I jumped on this pre-order!!
Really appreciate the in depth look at our Seal row pad 😁😁 Hope you are enjoying it!

Love that it fits your rack!! Bells has a lot of offer!! This is an exercise I’ve been sleeping on and need to do!!
I was very happy to see this being compatible with my rack.
Looks like a great value! I would need an adapter piece if I were to get this. Great job on the review, Tim!
Thanks Carter, I’ve been very impressed by this one!!
Nice stress test and well done, Tim!
Thank you, yeah I figured I couldn’t row 325lbs so that was the next best thing 😂
Great review! I’m glad that it fits the rack!!

Good to know. As a RML owner great to hear!

Thank you!! Yep, sometimes it’s easier to throw the measurements on screen with the tape measure so it’s just easier to visualize.

@@GoreckiFit Thanks. Yeah, seems easy to overarch lower back without a pad underneath. And good point about getting heavy db's up in the first place.

Where did you get your plyobox? I am looking for an 18 inch one.
That red one is Body-Solid and I found it at Dicks Sporting Goods but you can probably find it online at Fitness Factory or possibly Amazon.
How would you rate this vs revolt? Either way I'll need to have it customized to fit my rack

Question, are the two pins both size 5/8? Also what's the pins lengths please advise.
Pins are 5/8 and the length is just under 5 inches.
