How did he even have the suspicion to care enough to know about the symbolic significances of the numbers 3 and 4 and their relationship with each other? How did he know the proper level of conceptual representations most appropriate for psychological bearing with the ego, persona, shadow, anima, animus, and the self, having an infinite manner of schematizing to choose from? How did he know that the anima is perceived psychologically as a singular entity and the animus as a plurality of faceless entities? He seems to be right on all of them as far as I can tell.
