Got one of these today and it really is a great amp. I know all the 10" comments are true in a lot of amps, but this one sounds very good. If you want to get that broken up tone we all love, and still be able to play at home or in your room... look no further. I can't comment as to gigging or how it does on the road, all I can say is my wife and daughter can deal with it, and I love it.

I agree. I tried one of these in a music store and was blown away and how great it sounds, and at low volume too. This is a sleeper amp. I’m saving up to buy one for sure!

It's a fabulous amp , I have the head with a custom cab 2x12 greenbacks . It nails hendrix through to the jcm800 of rage against the machine. I am now complete

I have a 40 watt dirty Shirley and it’s the best amp I have ever played yea the price is steep but look at it this way you won’t have to spend a fortune in pedals trying to get your sound. If you like that old Marshall sound you will love these amps, I tone searched for years trying to match that Marshall sound I had from back in the day and the Friedman is what it took to satisfie my ear!!

I love Friedman as they make the best of the best, however, $1799 is too much for 1x10 combo. I would rather buy an Archon for that.

I just like a 12 inch speaker more. They are Hand Wired though. I'd rather get a Pink Taco head and run it through my 4x12 or my 2x12 cab.

I agree. That's priced a little rich. Take your price premium Friedman, but don't abuse it....otherwise your sales numbers will reflect that.

This is a car company game. Model year 1 is usually the lowest power engine ever to be in that model, then in years to come they increase the horsepower in modest amounts every year. Don't be surprised if in a year or 2 they release the combo with a 12 inch greenback. Then a Vintage 30. Then a Creamback. Etc.

I would like to know the parts that ar ebeing used as string trees on that guitar with the LSR roller nut. Some sort of bearing string tree? Do you all sell those?

You used the lovely silent jack cable the wrong way round! Other than that I really enjoyed the video and tones :)

True, but... this way, if you pull the cable from the amp and leave the other end plugged into the guitar, you won't hear any noise radiating from the guitar ;-) Thanks for watching!

Those power switches on the Friedman amps look so cheap and not sturdy. Not like anything music related. More like a switch on a lawn mower or something from a DIY store. I thought of getting one but this detail turns me off so much that I just can’t bring myself to unsee it.
…I know, I’m weird that way. Just can’t help it.
