Those outdoorsman knives are beautiful. I love the bone color and the acorn shield. The single bladed trapper is very cool. Thanks for showing them to us Baxter. 💤🐅

I was so close to getting the full size so many times it’s not even funny. May have to one day soon i knew i would love the bone color. Thanks for this one!👊🏼
That's a good looking series from Rough Ryder. The color of that bone and that acorn shield is perfect. I would go as far to say thats Rough Ryders best looking knife
I have the lockback trapper. It lives in an EDC pouch and gets used almost every day for all sorts of things. I really like it. I love the idea of a traditional pattern knife with a locking blade. Great video, thank you.
Man I love the darker bone on that full sized trapper!! I do have some machining marks, but only on the back side of the lock it's clean on the front. I really like my lockback trapper and I bet these vary in color big time. I love that cotton sampler! 👍
I might be wrong, but I think that is a back spring 🤔. Look at the top of the tang and see if the backspring stays in contact with the tang. If it does, it's a backspring. Just because a knife has a liner lock doesn't mean it's not a backspring. A knife not controlled by a backspring will fall when you release the lock. Liner locks and back locks do this. A backspring knife, the blade won't fall when you release the lock.😊 Let me know what you think 🤔
Very nice series! I wanted to buy the linearlock single-blade model, but I've seen a few videos where this knife failed. That is, with the blade open, if you pushed too hard, it bent upwards! It's hard to explain, but in practice if you exerted too much pressure, the blade was not in direct contact with the backspring, so it would bend upwards. So I didn't buy it...:(

The tang does not touch the back spacer at all. Very interesting knife. Thanks for watching Michael!
Digging them bones, BB
Me too Cheato! Thank you!

That's very interesting thank you for the information. My blade has direct contact with the backspring but I will be careful with it thank you.
