One of your videoes you said that there are areas of a city that a black person may have not seen a white person for weeks but that also applies to white people in the rural areas. We just do not know each other.

As Americans I believe we are naturally more inclined to get along with our neighbors regardless of race. It is however the life's work of the left to instigate division among our citizens along lines of race, age, sex economic status, religion and of course political leaning. They feel they can bring about the change they desire in this country in a moment of turmoil and despair. Conflict might help to get them there. It really is about as evil as the Nazis and very well could lead to a similar outcome.

My mother was one of those ethnic Germans in Czech. She suffered. She was 12 at the start and 18 when it was over. She was in a labor camp and had to walk back to Germany with whatever she could hold. My mother only ate bread and water. What a childhood she had. I gave up 13 years of my life to take of her before she passed at 92 years old. After everything she’s has been through, that was the least I can do for her.

How? He did nothing more than sanitise American history be reframing slavery as a periodical construct rather than objectively noting how the idea of property was first enshrined in the Constitution, denying slaves redress as homosapiens, denying their humanity in tow. It was consorted upon fo ther affluent white landowners to keep their riches in tact through forced free labour. What Sowell put down was complete fantastical dogshit in favour of the fantasy of American Exceptionalism, a conservative ideal he defended throughout his pseudo-intellectual journey. It is completely unimpressive, partisan pretense.

The mustache characterized by Hitler wasn't a rare thing for Germans who fought in WWI. Larger mustaches were in fashion at the outbreak of the war, and in older photos, Hitler even had one. The problem is that larger, handlebar-style mustaches would affect being able to put on a gasmask properly, so many soldiers in the trenches shaved theirs down.

Hadn't thought about it. Even today though that's still relevant if you do any regulated work requiring a gas mask you're not supposed to have a beard while using a gas mask, or even cheap disposible masks. Though most bosses don't say anything about those, or at least they don't enforce it.

That question: "If the Grand Wizard of the KKK moved to African country, would he then cease to be racist?" 21:19 I heard from a WWI documentary ('The World Wars') that he shaved his moustache like that in order to fit his face with his gas mask better. When his moustache was larger, it stuck out from his gas mask. It made a little mustard gas seep through. He kept that style after WWI. I've seen a few others with that style of moustache such as Charlie Chaplin and Oliver Hardy.
According to Wikipedia, that style originated in the States and was introduced to Germany in the late 19th century by visiting Americans.

it was used extensively by Goebbels in propaganda - together with his haircut. As an iconic recognition feature. For example, there were election posters on which only the moustache and the hair could be seen with the words "Hitler is coming" (for election campaign appearances). Everyone recognized him immediately. That still works today.

@osoblues You just sat there and watched a whole video, giving your comments while looking at the truth that other people in other countries where torture like we were because of their race! How can you still say Mr. Sowell's point that slavery (only for black people) was for the purpose of labor with a straight face? You now know what Mr. Sowell said was only partially true. And you now know that those countries paid millions of dollars in reparations to those people.
And Jewish people received Reparations from the United States government even though our government did not cause their genocide. So please point that out when you talk about Mr. Soweil. Get all the facts, not just Mr. Thomas Sowell's because he is only giving you one perspective. Slavery was not just for labor--It was because of racism and labor.
In America, slavery was not codified into law until 1968! It took another 20+ years to somewhat enforce it and provide black people with very little protection and liberties.
Mr. Sowell thinks that every other race should have reparations except for the black race. Even if there is a Jewish person alive who didn't originally get their reparations when they came to the United States they can still apply for it and get it now.
You need money, not empathy, not words, money makes money and that's the thing that they took from the Africans (classified by the government as Black people so we would forever be identifiable and oppressed worldwide), who were stolen and brought to America. No one ever said that slavery didn't happen in other county's for racial reasons, except for Mr. Sowell; he said it was only for labor; he said only black people shouldn't get cash reparations. Why? Greed and fear.
Mr. Sowell was paid to say that black people shouldn't get reparations. He got his money but they needed a stool pigeon to make sure that none of the rest of us got our money to lift us out of poverty and make us whole for the crimes against us by our government. So when Mr. Sowell tells you how he pulled his self up by his bootstraps and made himself his own man by joining the army and going to college, and this and that; that's not the truth.
Black people weren't allowed to do the things that Mr. Sowell was doing during earlier times of their own free violation. We were slaughtered if we attempted to go to college or join the army unless you were one of them. Mr. Sowell was paid handsomely by the government to turn on the black race in America to suppress the real reasons of what happened to Black people if you were a descendant of the original African slaves in the 1940's, '50's, '60's, '70's, 'and 80's. Just like Justice Clarence Thomas. Uncle Tom's, both of them.
Why? For the same reason that the German people didn't do anything when Hitler was murdering Jewish people.
To keep himself--and eventually when he had them his family--alive. Mr. Sowell made a deal with the devil called the government so that the narrative of the story could be changed and we never received reparations, but he got his. And now that message has been passed on to you and you're keeping Mr. Sowell's lies alive, but i don't have an issue with that. Just tell everything. Have a nice day.

@@mikejacob3536 Then you know that Thomas Sowell is really a communist who believes in Marxism. I don't know that capitalism is any better. Both systems are corrupt and designed to sustain black people in the poor class. But Mr So well won't speak about this part . His material is self-serving as well as necessary. Can't learn about the good in history without learning about the bad in history.
I'm curious, how much of his work mentions the Republic or the word Democracy? Mr Sowell did a very good job altering the thoughts of some Americans and a lot of Immigrants to believe in his ideals.
The intent of his books and films to explain away slavery as merely labor worldwide has failed. It failed back in 1940 and it's going to fail now. He still has people like you to pass his message along. Hopefully, you are teaching the full truth about the history and current ideals about slavery as well as Mr. Sowells'.
      Have a nice day.

Mr. Sowell knows his stuff. Been reading his books & listening to his history videos for quite some time as I have always had an avid interest in various cultures & history. I am an ethnic German that is at least 4 generations deep born in the Americas. My grandfather told me quite a bit about my family’s history & German history as a whole. That was my first source of information on German history in particular as it relates to Germans outside of Germany. I currently own a 1913 Colt 1911 US Army service pistol. It was my great grandfather’s WWI service pistol. It has 18 little tic marks on it for every German killed with that weapon during his time engaged in trench warfare for the US Army, so I can certainly confirm that German Americans have been willing to fight against Germany. That willingness precedes the Nazi’s. My grandfather was completely willing to fight the Nazi’s during the Second World War. He was not of fighting age, however until the European conflict was basically over. He wound up fighting the Japanese in the pacific instead. I was also told that the majority of Germans with my last name would be found in Africa as my last name is very old & dates back to the Vandals. You can look up the Vandals & confirm that history as they are famous for successfully attacking the Roman Empire from North Africa. At the time I thought it was absurd that my last name would be most prevalent in Africa. The advent of Facebook, however, confirmed what my grandfather had told me. My understanding of Germans in America as it relates to race relations also mostly comes from what my grandfather had told me as a child & I haven’t found anything that really contradicts what he told me. I was told Germans didn’t have slaves in this country. They were all basically like the Amish until the depression. They didn’t do much of anything with outsiders. Business was done amongst family & extended family. The Great Depression changed that dynamic for a lot of German American families. Mine included as my family had to sell it’s cattle ranch in Syracuse NY & moved west to Arizona. I have been told plenty more about my family history that I would consider interesting but those are some of the more interesting nuggets that would pertain to the contents of this video.

That temple taper haircut is a military haircut; the sides are shaved to discourage lice and keep you cool, and the top is a bit longer to pad your head from the weight of a helmet. [Edit] the mustache is also military regulation; beards were to be shaved and moustaches kept no wider than nostril width so they didn't interfere with gas masks. It’s about the used methods of propaganda, how willingly the Germans follow a strong lead and don’t resist, facing an (imaginary) enemy. willingly cooperate with the government without questioning. Defamation and oppression of people talking against.
Neighbors reported their neighbors for rule violations, police hunted kids down for sledging and nobody found that problematic, the city of essen installed a homepage where you can report anonymously your neighbors and this was used. People were policing other people to comply the rules, if they make sense or not doesn’t matter.

And I know that two smart people who make babies, and is grounded and sensible, raise kids that do very well academically. I think that if Condoleza Rice and Thomas Sowell had a kid 30 years ago, their kid would mop the floor with most people in academics. Parents gifts from God, do carry over somewhat 80% of the time. And I believe the times that it does not, it is God who intervenes because people make wrong choices, or God choose people for different purposes. As it does with athletes, we have had many kids of superathleteparents making babies, who have become superstars very effortless, same thing with academics. It gives some an easier road to travel to get where their parents want them to go, to fulfill their dreams for themselves. Only question is if it is their kids dream or even a priority in their life, and how God plan our destiny for us individually. Does not mean anybody support hilters lebensborn thought, just stating a fact. Would perhaps advance human evolution, but ungodly and wrong. Gods plan is that we find love, and we stay in love throughout life, and always do right. Does not change the fact that if I were to make a baby with a very smart lady, chances are that my child would not be as smart as a kid of a smart lady who made a baby with a smarter man than me.

Saying that all Germans knew what was done to Jewish people and supported it is as ignorant and stupid as saying that all Americans supported the Iraq war. Or Trump. Or Biden. You’ll always have some supporters, some who are unpolitical and some who are against it. A government never needed 100% of their people to agree with something to push through with it. A small but loud minority of supporters plus a lot of intimidation and propaganda is usually enough.

sadly, even Thomas Sowell fails to grasp just how big of a lie the civil war narrative was as it had nothing to with slavery at all. It's was all about State Rights, hence that's what the Confederate flag was, the 13 original colonies (the 13 stars) - they had formed the federal government as a means to represent the 13 colonies however should the federal government overstep it's authority, they had every right to disband the government. This would be akin to you hiring a lawyer and saying, that you have 13 companies that you want to run under one umbrella and Mr. Lawyer, you are in charge but if you start going nuts, Im going to fire you. Everyone agrees until Mr. Lawyer becomes too powerful and well, the rest as they say is history. Folks have no clue that blacks after the civil war returned back to the very same "plantations" that they were worked at prior to the war. This was done of their own free will and accord. Some blacks even gave up their life savings to the South to help fight against the war. You all have no idea at just how much you've been played.

The difference between the reparations of Holocaust victims and that suggested here in the U.S. is that the people responsible in Germany (German society/Government) compensated people that were actually imprisoned in concentration camps. These two are not the same. What is suggested here is that people that aren't responsible are being asked to compensate those that weren't enslaved. And part of this is asking people who have ancestry that died freeing slaves paying people who have ancestry that were never enslaved. Try figuring out how that makes sense.

So, if you were imprisoned now, stripped of all assets and rights, you would recover within a few years of release?
Keep in mind that afterward, we won't educate your children, you can't get credit, most companies won't hire you, and friends/family cannot help you.
Consider this in effect for 100 years from release. You don't think that by the end of that 100 years, maybe it would be nice of someone to finally help your grandkids get going on track again?
I am not in favor of forced compensation, but I do acknowledge the need for voluntary help to others. I do accept in the long term, they endured something and it should not just be forgotten.
Go out and see how many young men lack a father figure. See how stressed and broken some of them are. They grew up with nothing and have no idea how to start living. Look at some of the places they had to live or stories they tell you about early life.
I help them because I can. No one else is reaching out. It should be voluntary to help anyone, but don't pretend there is no need that has been created.
