Good Morning peeps, this is what I do when I wake up early and my mind is racing -after watching our new marketing video of our church below it was a sermon by a dr Tony Evan's called Marriage is a covenant not a contract-start watching it-my first thought was that he is historically incorrect-Marriage was always considered a contract throughout most history-what do you think? part of my journey of deconstructing my faith!
The main point of the passage is the responsibility to care for others. If you marry someone, straight or LGBTQIA, both partners are to care for one another. The bond and the responsibility to care are as strong as blood ties. Here in the United States, we don't understand how strong the cultural responsibility to care for the family is. All marriages are between equals with an obligation to care for one another.

Love this putting the scriprutre back into context. But this seems very heterosexual. What does it mean for LGBTQIA how do we make sense of it?
