  • This is our last new episode before our break. But don't worry, we'll be back before you know it!
In this episode, Ron and Tom give an update on the overcharged battery story from a few weeks ago, talk about running 2 of the YS120 engines for the Tri-Motor Project, and discuss how many channels you really need on your transmitter.

I just found your channel and I am very impressed! I love your setup for the podcasts. I wish you both well in this endeavor. Honestly with your setup and camera presence I think it might be a waste of your time and talents to do all of this on this particular hobby/topic. RC, as you both well know, is really not the hobby it was 30 years ago especially when it comes to glow engines and balsa airplanes. Society and the mindset of people is just not the same as it was back then. Today it is all about getting in the air with the minimal amount of time and effort involved. The 'instant gratification' society.
After having been active for 5 months I am somewhat surprised that your subscriber base is not larger. I am sure that will come in time. While I have not viewed many of your videos yet, will your focus be mostly on glow engine based topics? I certainly hope so, as we need more advocates for the dying glow engine segment of this hobby. I am just winding down my YT channel which at this time is the largest glow engine video database in the world. I hope that someday you two will surpass that. If you feel like it, check my channel out. Perhaps I will make a short video here soon to encourage my subscribers to join your channel as well. I know my friends Robert and Blaz have a TON of subscribers and many of them would be most interested in this channel as well. Perhaps you have heard of them, th-cam.com/users/petrincic1
I wish you both well and very good luck with this channel!
