It's really weird how these animations are adorable yet creepy at the same time. Just like nature.
That's why I love this channel. They show the cute and horrific side of nature.
Especially the chick one. Forgot which species it was, parents drop off the egg for other birds to raise and it will kill off the 'legitimate children' to get more food.

something i love about these animations is how it shows the more "horrific" sides of nature without making the animals look bad. the sillyness of the animations makes it easier to accept lol!
But it's great bc a lot people tend to judge animals based on human morals so when ppl find out abt some creepy fact about animals, some like to cause fear mongering or demonize the animal which can be dangerous for the species. Like how ppl try to give dolphins and ducks a bad rep.

chickens and turkeys do this too (and probably other poultry), and they will do it nomatter their age, its a reaction to being poorly cared for, similar to why other animals will engage in cannibalism, including us, its a matter of survival
