EFCC going after criminal politicians in Nigeria doesn’t excite me! Nothing ever comes out of it! Has any of them ever gone to prison? Have we ever been told what any recovered money was used to achieve? Like all the Abacha looting that got recovered? What school, hospital or road have any of the recovered monies been used? They are all one and the same, the EFCC and the politicians they are going after.

True talk. Except, Dariye of Plateau State, Nyame of Taraba State and Bala James Ngilari of Adamawa State ( for a very brief period ) All Christians. First two from the Middle Belt and the third core North Governor by mistake. Except that Southern Governor from the South South Dickson jailed in Britain. These are the only corrupt governors. 😀😁😂. The rest of the Northern Muslim Governors have made the Senate their safe haven as they serve Nigerians as " Distinguished Senators " of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as they enjoy their loot in addition to fat pensions from their States and the "perquisites" of the Red Chambers which they are in for life until pushed out by their peoples. Crazy Nigeria.

Oga many have gone to prison, 2 former Governors of Plateau and Taraba if I'm not mistaken, a former IG of Police Tafa Balogun was jailed, former civil servants etc many still have court cases, let's learn to give credit were it's die and not outrightly condemn everything about Govt

Nigeria's problem is not just leadership, but also some unscrupulous followers who scramble for crumbs to support political thieves.
Most African countries have the same problem…and that’s why the politicians keep down poor and dependent on them
Who impoverished them if not the same leaders. If leaders stop stealing and start using the resources for developmental projects, poverty will gradually reduce as well as blind supporters.
We do not have leaders in Nigeria,we have rulers. A leader inspires and guides people toward a common goal,while a ruler typically exercises authority or control over others through fear or power.Leaders earn respect,while rulers command obedience.

It's interesting how EFCC seem to prosecute ex-governors after they have served their full tenure. Isn't it the job of the accountant general to oversee the audit of state expenditure of the monthly allocation on a quarterly basis - during the governor's tenure?

Many had served, don't generalize! Joshua Dariye of Plateau State, Jolly Tanko of Taraba State, Ibori of Delta State, Orji Kalu of Abia, many senators and reps had served jail terms too. This yeye bello won't be first or last, but he must be made to account for his gross misdeeds!
@@julieharuna Thank you for your reply. Wasn’t Dariye the fellow who was granted a wholesale amnesty by BUHARI, no less? Orji appealed and was released on a technicality. He didn’t serve a single day and Ibori was prosecuted here in the United Kingdom and served part of a 5 year term. Neither the EFCC nor the justice system is flawless in Nigeria. The later was shamelessly on display recently following the Presidential election appeals process. I am still asking for ONE NAME. Prosecution by the EFCC is a actually a badge of honour. They get ‘promoted’. Look at AKPABIO. The moment impunity is contained in Nigeria, success is assured. ONE NAME, madam. Just ONE NAME.
