It’s disappointing to see the trading post Fort Courage in such disrepair. Spent quite a bit of coin in that place over the years. It was always a must stop as we would travel eastward on interstate 40.

It just me but I think that Scott is just respecting Jordan because it his video, I been watching Scott adventures regarding Route 66 as well, both are doing a great job.
The petrified forest and the painted desert inn were incredible! The layers I could see in the rocks you drove past were beautiful too.
A floating log and poor water pressure. Crazy how places can change for the worst with the wrong staff.

What a thing to find in your room! LOL! Customer service is not what it used to be. I went to the Petrified Forest in the 70's and never forgot how beautiful it was. Thanks for taking me back. Scott is right, American the Beautiful.

Aww you past by Thunderbird Supply my daughters a model for them for 2023 her picture is in front of the store. Sad El Rancho has gone downhill, my grandma would have been disappointed. At the boarder have you notice the animals on top of the caves on the rocks? Lupton use to have an amazing breakfast place and the greyhound use to stop there. LOVE your videos
They don't allow any photos inside and I don't patronize any businesses that don't allow me to take photos

Like the tour of Houck. The Pancake House used to be a Greyhound rest stop the early 80’s. I was a driver at the time and ate there many times, had my first Navajo taco there. At the time it was a very nice place. Thanks for the memories ❤

When you mentioned the Petrified Forest I thought of the Bette Davis film and great that they had the film poster in the Painted Desert Inn. Great vlog Jordan.

have never been to the petrified forest but my brother and some of my other family did I have a piece of the forest they brought me home
From what I understand, taking a piece of the petrified forest is illegal. I guess that didn't matter to my grandfather, I had a chunk of it that weighed at least a pound!

I’m from that part of the country, and I REALLY don’t recommend that you go inside those abandoned buildings. There could be squatters, rattlesnakes, or worse - you could get shot. Seriously. There are lots of other interesting things to focus on. You’re making me really nervous when you do that. 💜

Cant complain about any of these videos they are great. I read though in Star nagazine that Scott does alot of the Are WeThere Yet and Punch Buggy routine when the camera is off. It will probably be a e true hollywood story one day. I can see the title now did Michaels want to dearly depart the route 66 trip and did his antics really cause Jordan to be Dazed. Haha😂

A log in the toilet in a hotel room is unacceptable, it shows that the room was not cleaned since the last person. I would have gone full Karen (I am a middle aged woman, so I could, ha ha) and demanded either another room or that they cleaned that one properly. I hope the owners see this and take it to heart. The petrified forest area looks amazing.

Welcome to my world at my effentcy apartment. Now we have no hot water, and the boiler in the basement is broken, so they are waiting for a specialist to come & hopefully fix it. I like cold showers but the older ones here need the hot water. In Texas now, it is very hot 🔥 🥵 so staying in doors 🚪 for now. I wanted to ask again which apartment's in LA had the Clark Gable poster behind you in or on the closet doors 🚪?

I recall passing this place in the 1970s and later in 2010. Never stopped there since I was always traveling on business. Besides, I never liked F-Troop because I was a John Wayne fan, and making the taming of the west a comedy just did not appeal to me. But my little brother watched the show so I do recall the intro and the cast of ken Berry, Larry Storch, and Forrest Tucker. After seeing this video I wished that I had made Fort Courage the pit stop. Nice video of times gone by.
