  • Karl Brauer of iseecars.com and CFRA's Garrett Nelson were left "scratching their heads" after Tesla's (TSLA) CyberCab reveal. Nelson says EPS growth outlook is at a lofty-multiple, while Brauer was simply surprised that it was a 2-door vehicle. "How much longer can Elon ride the pure EV revenue stream?" says Brauer.

Do you know what was even less impressive? The introduction on the Model Y, and did you know that became the number one vehicle in sales a couple of years later.

Hybrid vehicles are more complicated than all electric vehicles and have many more parts to fail. Hybrids have both a traditional gas engine plus the electric drive system and all the additional components to manage and transfer power between the two systems.

The robo taxi only needs two doors because there is no driver to get in and there is usually only one or two fares per ride. In a normal taxi the fares get in the back seat and the front door is only for the driver. Think of the doors on the robo taxi as the back doors of a cab.

To the guy on the left, who said self driving technology wasn't going to be ready until 2027, pay attention to what was said. FSD is to be launched next year in Texas and California and Robotaxi will be on the road BEFORE 2027. To the guy on the right, at no time has Tesla indicated Model 2 would be discussed during a We Robot event....for that matter, why would they and potentially Osborne Model Y? The refreshed Model Y wasn't discussed either for the same reason

Does it drive itself to the dealership for repairs. 🤔

My 3 year old model Y has never had to visit the dealership. No repairs, no required service, now oil changes. I put the windshield washer fluid in myself though😇. That is something I have never been able to say about any car I previously owned.

Isn't the robo taxi the new low cost Tesla that had been promised? I believe this model will be modified to exclude full sell drive and sold to individuals as the new $25,000 low cost tesla.
