Apparently he left his job because he had issues with his boss. They originally had an agreement saying that he could leave at about 5:00 to go pick up his kid from daycare. This was made worse during the pandemic and his boss eventually seemed to stop honoring the agreement. This lead the guy to put his two weeks in although he later walked off the job presumably after an argument with his boss. After not receiving his final paycheck he called the Department of Labor to look into it, who ended up contacting his former employer three times. Look at the reviews how he treat his customers, I surprised that this company still open to this day.
Finally this led to this whole check into pennies scenario. Also that letter on top of the pile was his final paystub.
