Wow! During the first 3 months I was just going to have 5 sleepers, 6 onsies, 1 coat, 2 swaddles, 2 muslin blankets, 1 sweater for the baby...and that’s it. Minimalistic for me, love yours!

You don't need too much they grow so fast.
I have so many ideas for our nursery! Just an FYI though, I come from a family of police officers and the baby on board tags aren't just to let people around you to know to drive safe. They're actually intended to notify first responders that there is a baby in the car if God forbid your in a horrible accident and are unconscious. The first responders will know to check the car and surrounding area for your baby or babies. 😊
Yes, I’ve heard that it’s good to take it off when your baby is not in the car with you.
Weird because several first responders say they dont pay attention to them because they spend unnecessary time looking for a child thats not there. I guess you take it off if theyre not with you.
Could be my country or state? But the officers in my family utilize them if they're on the car.
My husband is a firefighter and said the same thing, he also said they would rather spend extra time looking for a baby then not see one without the magnet.

The “baby on board” stickers are actually really important! If god forbids you were to be in an accident, that will let anyone know, including the rescue team, that there is a baby on board!

They are also good to write your babies info on it, like allergies and such. Just in case you can't and they know what to tell the hospital

The issue is that this isn't how people use them. If you don't have a "baby on board" then you are supposed to remove the sign from you car so that emergency services aren't scrambling around looking for an injured baby that isn't there, but people keep the, on their cars whether their baby is in the car or not.
I find the way you have your drawers organized is so satisfying 😂
In the unicorn box you could put hospital things, baby shower things and first time things to save! That’s what I’m doing with a box I have 😍

ETA: BABY POWDER- if u dont use it on the baby it makes a great carpet deodorizer!!! I sprinkle baby powder on all my carpets/rugs let sit either a few hrs or a couple days then vacuum! Smells amazing. I like the Lavender scent for the carpet. 😉
Yes, and helps soak up pet messes after spraying cleaning fluid!

Love the nursery and organozation ❤️ i'm having my first baby early next year, but me and my husband can only afford a super small one-bedroom apartment and literally no space for the baby and its stuff. I have been crying, hopefully we can afford a nursery as nice as this one day!
Everyone wants the picture perfect nursery when they're expecting, but the reality is that baby doesn't need very much stuff at all :) Baby will likely sleep in the same room as you for the first 6 months anyway. Just having a simple corner in your bedroom with a bassinet and a dresser for baby's things would be enough. Just try to think about what you really need at that point for baby (not what you will need when they're 6+ months, or 1 year old!) You might want to search for minimalist baby videos, there's lot's of great ideas out there! And remember, it's not about the material stuff, you will be great parents :)

You should use the unicorn box as a keepsake box. Put any papers, pictures, trinkets, tickets/wristbands... things you dont want to toss but dont really have a place for. I have 3 now at 22 and they are so fun to go through.

You can use the unicorn box as a keepsake box! I have a similar box and I keep my son’s baby book, hospital tags, hat, coming home outfit, first haircut hair, etc in it 😊

You could use the unicorn bin for little momentos. Like the outfit from her first holidays, hospital hat, coming home outfit. Stuff like that
Hello there! Im an EMT and just wanted to let you know that those baby on board signs are highly important. They are not for other drivers. They are in case you are in an accident. It actually alerts emergency personnel that there may be a child in the car. Esp if its a really bad wreck and you cant communicate.
I would recommend waterproof liners for your changing table instead of the doggy pads. Its cost effective and less wasteful
And i have heard the doggy pads have hormones or something also idk

I know Chaz gave you that awesome box for Ellianna’s different milestones and things but you could use that other unicorn box as kind of an overflow keepsake box. I know my keepsake box that my mom has for me was about that size and with everything that she kept in it, it’s pretty much overflowing 😂

The “baby on board” sign is actually for emergency people to know that there is a child/baby in the car. If you ever get in a accident that sign will let them know to look for a child if the child is not in the car.
You can use the unicorn box for a special save for keeps box, like a box of firsts. Like a lock of baby hair, first tooth, baby brush and comb, coming home outfit, first pair of shoes, first pacifier, pair of booties and mittens, first binky/comfort item, baby’s keepsakes/memory book, etc. My mom has a box like that for me and my brother 💛💛💛

You can always use the baby powder to get the sand off baby when you do take her to the beach.

Baby on board signs are actually for EMS workers. You should take it out of your window every time you drive without your baby. They are meant to notify EMS of a child that may have been ejected from the vehicle in the case of an accident and the other passengers are not able to communicate.
She's a happy baby and doesn't spit up or drowl. 😊
She is such a happy baby! Yes, of course, she does occasionally, but not too often! 😊
My granddaughter only takes the Ryan and Rose Cutie Pats. They are pricey but Mimi loves buying them for her!

Those hair accessories are super cute! I have a few headbands but my baby is always taking them off. We use Burts Bees baby powder for our baby girl ^.^ If you're not using the Johnsons baby powder I'd recommend getting rid of it, especially if you see talc in the ingredients list.
Yes the talc can cause issues! Also, I have heard, any powder has a risk of the baby breathing it but I'm guessing if you're careful and maybe have a fan blowing it opposite from face, it shouldn't be a problem. Also what helps reduce cloud of powder is patting it close onto a rag/towel/tissue/makeup brush etc then applying it.
Baby on board is a wonderful idea you can also go to your local fire dept a get a bedroom window sticker that will let the fire or rescue personal know there is a baby or child in the house
The bibs really come in handy when she starts eating table/baby food

Those were being sold at T.J.MAXX a few months ago. You might still be able to find them on their website if you search for baby blankets. They were only like $8 too.

Tara T Walmart has 10 packs for $1 each. I’ve found blue pink grey and white ones all a single color. They’re just cheap plastic hangers but will work if you don’t care about a closet looking high dollar.

Never knew insurance companies cover the breast milk storage bags. I will have to look into that. Did you just call your company and how do you order them?
My OB had me go to www.pumpingessentials.com and I ordered from there! 😊 However, they stopped providing me with bags a couple of weeks ago because my insurance company wasn't doing their part, unfortunately. I hope it works out for you!!

Hey just a heads up a lot of “puppy pads” have hormones on them to get your dog to use them. Just don’t want people to be putting their little babies on those kind of pads. They make pads like that for humans.

We used to use it for her face and my mother-in-law said we could use it as diaper rash cream, but we already had the Honest Co. cream and only had to use it once right after she was born. We hold onto it just in case. 😊
My understanding is it can be a barrier cream or moisturizer. Oil or oil based creams are great for softening cradle cap skin so when it dries, you can easily brush it off. Diaper RASH creams usually have zinc oxide or something that has a sort of drying action to help the rash because if it's all too wet too moisturized, it can continue the rash.
