Ah yes, the final boss that introduced the concept of Soul bosses to the Kirby series. It's always great to see her themes get remixed, but if you ask me, nothing will top the originals.
Drawcia really deserves to get more remixes of her themes ! It took 17 years before a game decided to remix both of her themes (even Rainbow Curse missed this chance sadly...)
I love Drawcia! She's one of my favorite kirby villains, i hope she will return in one of the main series games since Canvas Curse is considered not canonical
Aside from the ones on this video, in Star Allies Drawcia Soul appears, but the version that appears there is the original one with its like 5-seconds intro cut, and is called "Drawcia Soul (Star Allies Short ver.)". For what I know, that version is completely identical to the original one aside from skipping the intro, and when looping it continues in the exact same way. Still, it is "a version" I guess.
I genuinely don't really like Canvas Curse at all, I find the game really boring and none of the levels stood out to me. I was going to consider the game bad until I got to this final boss and wow, Drawcia is genuinely amazing. She has an amazing theme, backstory, design and her boss battles are really fun too. She's definitely one of the best final bosses in the entire series and that's genuinely realy surprising, since she's in a game with literally no bosses otherwise and she's a stronger boss than the final boss in games I actually like such as Squeak Squad and Mass Attack. I also love how she has had one of the biggest impacts on the series for a spin off character. Necrodeus is the reason Sun Stones exist but otherwise has nothing to do with any other game. Yin Yarn has no effect on any game other than Epic Yarn and it's remake. Drawcia? Every soul boss aside from Magolor and Star Dream references her which implies she has a connection to all of them, she's also constantly referenced in other places too and has been given expanded lore in future games (most notably Triple Deluxe and Star Allies with her sisters.) I really hope we get a light novel for Drawcia, the problem with her as a villain is despite her being really excellent it takes researching exterrnal media to really realize how great of a villain she is. Now this isn't an issue exclusive to Drawcia, this is an issue for other characters too but yeah I do hope they'll try to exclusively tell their stories in the games, only leaving minor story elements to other media. I think Star Allies did this but I had to research on the Kirby wiki to understand it all, Forgotten Land might do this too but I don't own the game and have only played it here and there at my partner's house so I don't know. Anyway yeah Drawcia rocks.
Forgotten Land left some of the "lore-y" stuff out but most of the story was within the game. Also Star Dream's Thermal Module acts a little bit like Deadly Sun...kinda
No need to worry about Forgotten Land, it pretty much casted the entire rest of the franchise to the side (in a good way) in favor of “the new era of Kirby”
Admittedly the original version is still the best one i like kirby dream biffet arangment even though it literally has no melodic elements from the original aside from the opening and some of the background instruments honestly it feels wrong to call it a remix as most of it is like completely original sounding most of it is just random notes like most jazz i do admit the opening and the background instrument do use the same melody its just weird that the main melody just isnt in there at all

ALSO 100TH LIKE!??

Eh? Oh right… Star Allies. I forgot that game existed for a moment.
Dream Buffet?
3:06 the theme of a terrifying witch demon thing’s boss fight…now localized in a cute game where a bunch of Kirbies roll on a cake :)
Ngl, Drawcia Soul’s theme with gameplay sounds and looks pretty off without Drawcia’s devilish screeches of both physical and mental pain.
Megumi Ohara liked her tracks so much she made two arrangements of them for Dream Buffet!
I don't know how the Dream Buffet Soul remix works so good but it does
I love Drawcia! She's one of my favorite kirby villains, i hope she will return in one of the main series games since Canvas Curse is considered not canonical
I never played canvas curse but I didn't know it wasn't canon. The whole game feels canon to me.
all games are canon, until proven otherwise (in Canvas Curse's case, it's due that Drawcia is implied with Paintra and Vividria)
Every Kirby game is cannon, yes even Kirby clash
@@Paradoxe_0Yeah I remember hearing in a Video one time that HAL Confirmed Every single Kirby Game is Cannon Now. Even the What if modes and stuff.
I mean, we not only see her sisters in later games, but can even play as one in Star Allies

It’s Drawcia! Nice to see her again.
Canvas Curse is one of the only Kirby games I didn't play. Sounds like Castlevania!
Canvas curse is just terrifying, mostly because of drawcia and drawcia soul
Muito bom os jogos do kirby.tem cada musica marcante.E com remix fica ainda melhor.
Drawcia a pintora de outro mundo
Why do I always get the feeling that Drawcia's design is based off of Dark Matter?
Ayy, glad to see some Drawcia appreciation in this video! 👀

@@Yiron0 Huh now that I think about it, it kinda does.
I never really noticed that
Drawcia made the entire game a bit better just by existing

Mage dark matter shadow: Tenguoi
Man, it's such a tease that the 25th anniversary version doesn't get to the second half....
I actually understand why they remix the themes for dream buffet, because canvas curse was a game with Kirby ball
Lore of Kirby - All Drawcia Themes momentum 100
Veeery underrater final boss, maaaan I miss the hours I dedicated to canvas curse, amazing game even for a spinoff

how is drawcia supposed to be pronounced anyway? draw-sha? draw-see-ah?
I don't know a single person that says "draw-sha"
I'm pretty sure it's "draw-see-ah"...
@@Yiron0 I'd believe so too, if it wasn't for paintra.
@@jclkaytwo but the two have completely different endings?
"tra" and "cia"
@@Yiron0 I assume that the names of all the drawcia-related characters are supposed to rhyme.

what about vividria
