Hey how much weight are you tossing? I was out there first time yesterday throwing 5-10oz and was only able to make my bait stay where I wanted when the tides were switching. The current was just pushing my bait to the side the rest of the time. Not sure what I was doing wrong. Great video
You're throwing out too far..... Trust me, give it a try, I fish that spot probably about 20 years ago for at least 10 years time there's also a dock if you go over that bridge in his video and follow that road there's a duck hunting club out there and the California department of fish and game office regularly checks people's licenses also salmon run through there and sturgeon
I live in Oregon now I am catch trophy Brown and rainbow trout literally in my backyard don't have to worry about the crowds out there at Montezuma Slough but there's plenty of good places to fish in Rio Vista too

That’s a good ass spot but the mud there is brutal. I’ve hooked up on some nice sturgeon there. Salmon run well there around September as well.
