It's hard to know who Brian's opponent should be. I have a feeling even by say November Brian going all out on the table would smash most people into next week. Brian is a different breed.
People are hyping Brian up but he's not even close. He needs 1 more year. Those arm wrestling techniques take time to grasp. It's super high level and is going to be important if Brian is going to feel good winning. Losses can really hurt the mind especially losses against way smaller guys. This is the only sport where big guys can lose. I say 1 more year.
People who say he wont get there have no idea how strong Brian is and how tall he is. Hiss arms are like most people's legs. He trained for 20+ years and hass verry good cardio. Hiss tendons are strong aswell or you think training for 20+ years for strongman wont make them strong. Nobody can match him for pure strenght not even levan. The guy is 4x wsm and made podium many times more. He is verry smart aswell and picks up verry quick on what people are teaching him. I dont know if he will ever able to beat Levan tho. Levan is special in armwrestling surtenly for the last 5/8 years. Im surten tho thazt Brian is able to get into the top 5 maybe top 3 if he keeps training for it.
Brian being able to beat Levan is a possibility, in terms of strength genetics he’s at the peak of humanity. If he learns high level technique, Levan will probably be in for the match of his life.
I been following Brian about 4 years before i found arm wrestling, so when they both collided i was super stoked. Brian took strongman very serious, took the MMA very serious til the promotors backed out on him, so i had no doubt that he would take arm wrestling serious too. The only thing that worries me is for how long will he take it serious. Takes so long to get to elite level. If he can take it serious for a couple years at least then it's RIP everybody but Levan. If he takes it serious for 3 plus years its RIP even Levan lol
I'm sure it's not about Alizhan being given, but him having taken an opportunity of double champ. Guy has never even started learning English, for example.
Everybody says oh he won’t be anything. You think he was anything before he started training strong man? If Brian stays with it he has the best chance over anybody
If you know Brian, when he starts training something new and he likes it. He goes all out like a psycho. He’s probably doing nothing other than watching videos and training.
I think you are giving Devon a bit too much credit here. He won the superheavyweight belt before Levan competed at EvW. He also got that title shot against Ermes directly coming off a loss to Genadi. No-one else besides Devon would have even got that opportunity Devon only won 1 match against Prudnik to get the 115kg belt and made no defenses. Devon has not competed at 105kg yet. So yeah technically he has a chance to have held 3 different titles. But he would have done so with a lot of caveats.
Yeah he won't have held 3 belts simultaneously, I think it's debatable whether he even held 2 at the same time. It's not comparable to Brzenk doing to Zloty and dominating 3 weight classes at the same tournament.
I strongly disagree! Brian's first match should be against Devon so that he can build up he's confidence and table IQ before facing powerhouses like Bowen.

The beyond power machine is amazing. Brian is a machine and is quickly advancing. Bowen would not stand a chance.
I really hope Brian enters amateur tournaments and builds up his experience. Less pressure, less chance for injury, great exposure for smaller venues, and earn it the way others have to earn the respect of the other athletes.
Brian should pull in a few tournaments before getting throw into supermatches against more experienced pullers
it would be a lot better for him
We need Derek Smith to visit again and really give us a gauge of Brian's current lvl.
When is dev vs petrenko and when is dev vs leonaidos?is it happening in the same night?
Leonidas is at KOTT12 next Saturday and Petrenko is on November 2nd EvsW15
I absolutely agree that Brian can be great with training and experience but he needs a lot of that. Size and strength is a great start but not all. People forget about Devon vs Thor. He didn't fair to well and theyre pretty similar lol
People keep bringing that up like Thor was even 1/8th as trained as Brian is right now in armwrestling. I love that ridiculous nonsense.
@@Vladprydewhat are u talking about lmao he hasn't even had a SINGLE legitimate match yet . He's literally just had table training. Did u read my comment? He needs a lot of training and experience. His strength and size is a great advantage to start with but not gonna make him win. Everyone thinks he's just gonna hop on the table and dominate. Which is the real ridiculous nonsense. Thor was likely stronger at that time than Brian is currently too so it doesn't mean anything. Not to mention how do u know Thors arm wrestling background. Maybe he has some who knows it's just likely nothing next to professionals. He needs multiple matches to get the experience till then he's just an amateur.
@@Erotal "Everyone thinks he's just gonna hop on the table and dominate. Which is the real ridiculous nonsense."
Wrong. Firstly, NOBODY believes that except Habsburg Jaw Arm wrestling fans who act all butthurt that a strongman DARES to try their sport. Secondly, the real ridiculous nonsense is bringing up an impromptu zero technique Thor "match" against Larratt what, 10 years ago, and acting like it's a legitimate comparison to what Brian is doing NOW. Don't quit your day job at the circus. 🤡
I've watched strongman a lot longer than I've watched armwrestling, I'm familiar with brian shaw. He is driven 🤘🍻🤘
It's hard to know who Brian's opponent should be. I have a feeling even by say November Brian going all out on the table would smash most people into next week. Brian is a different breed.
I don't think these arm wrestlers understand how strong Brian is. I can't wait for his debut.
Brian beat mike with ease....Brian is stronger than levy.....but it's gonna take a year or so tech.....
I would never doubt Brian mfeing Shaw. He's a jolly giant, but he'll kick your ass in almost everything imaginable.
The goat Ryan Bowen.. hahahahah that got me there.
I say 1 more year.
who wins chance vs bowen?? anyway, brian vs the winner..?
Damn, Brian is now slim Brian.
2:40 forecasting? Turns out to be true
Brian Shaw vs Leonidas
I been following Brian about 4 years before i found arm wrestling, so when they both collided i was super stoked. Brian took strongman very serious, took the MMA very serious til the promotors backed out on him, so i had no doubt that he would take arm wrestling serious too. The only thing that worries me is for how long will he take it serious. Takes so long to get to elite level. If he can take it serious for a couple years at least then it's RIP everybody but Levan. If he takes it serious for 3 plus years its RIP even Levan lol
💪🏻🍺
If he started it 10 years ago then Levan would be in trouble, things its little late in the day for him to beat levan
Levan is the greatest now, but who knows how long he will take it seriously as well? Where will he be in 10 yrs?
"If he takes it serious for 3 plus years its RIP even Levan lol" don't keep your hopes up lil devonite loser lmfao
@@drawncept8391probly in failing health from steroid abuse. I like Levan, but the body has limits
ryan the goated
Me personally, as a strength athlete, (And not an elite one just an aspiring gladiator), I put some respect on dat name Brian Shawww lol
Brain vs John
If Brian Shaw entered a Slap fight competition he would kill someone. 😂
Brian Shaw vs Schoolboy.
Brian Shaw vs Auden Larratt and then Ryan Bowen lol
give it up... this is like curling
I'm sure it's not about Alizhan being given, but him having taken an opportunity of double champ. Guy has never even started learning English, for example.
Yeah i think that Ryan can be a good opponent for Brian when he has about a year of armwrestling training
If Brian really takes it seriously he will be a real threat for everyone👍🏽💪🏾
Brian vs Leonidas
I agree on Bowen
Big Loz would be the match for Brian at this point.
😊
Brian would fold Bowen in half. I don't think you realize just how much of a strength and size difference there is between the two.
How does second not have those belts anymore other than levan no one beat him
Bowen would not handle Brian, but it would be a great first match.
Everybody says oh he won’t be anything. You think he was anything before he started training strong man? If Brian stays with it he has the best chance over anybody
If you know Brian, when he starts training something new and he likes it. He goes all out like a psycho. He’s probably doing nothing other than watching videos and training.
Not sure whether opinion or science just spoke of revelation come.
I'm not very interested until a match between brian shaw and levan is on the table..
DUURRRR he needs 10 years he's going to be too old DUUURRRRR!
I strongly disagree! Brian's first match should be against Devon so that he can build up he's confidence and table IQ before facing powerhouses like Bowen.
People who actually follow Brian know that he never does anything half ass. When he commits to something he is ALL IN. All you doubters a just more fuel for him
Brian will instantly become the strongest arm wrestler once his first match occurs. Not saying he will dominate right away. Just talking strength
Plz do not put more Fuel on bowens Fire. Hej should stick to his weight where hes actually Pretty good
Bowen doesn’t break centre with Brian
You want to pit one of the strongest men in the world against Brian Shaw?
