@@FanRailer Genesis Sanctuary has a video of 4000 from 5 years ago and it sounded the same. I believe it has something to do with the heat. It was very hot the day of this video, and the same was true of the older video.
hope you enjoyed it down there! currently in NH from my normal residence in Radburn - NJT is interesting but no less i hope you enjoyed your time catching stuff!
Nice video. I like those PL42AC locomotives. I have a question, though. Is the new ALP-45A a hybrid locomotive like the regular ALP-45DP or is it only diesel?

Great EMD sound!
Damn, PL42AC 4000 still sounds the same, that engine is loud. But am I the only one that likes the sound it makes with the 710G3B?
What train is 4000 copying?
@@ryansrailwayproductions794 what do you mean
@@ryansrailwayproductions794 .
Nice catches! I love these locos for some reason: 2:33
The first and the third trains of this video were port Jarvis line trains.

@@FanRailer Glad you saw the humor. Love ya bud. Keep up the good work
Amazed that PL42AC 4000 is still running, it sounds like a BL20GH with a 710, and was sitting dead in Hoboken after a run a few days ago
lmao 4000 sounds like it's about to blow up. It needs help haha

The way it buzzes makes me wonder if there's some bearing in there getting way too hot. Fan, turbo, who knows?

The new ALP-45A is still using dual-power. It just has additional modifications like it’s LED light
@@rebooted.jupiter_ And I heard it was battery powered.
