Although I was breaking down-- this song helped me a lot. We lived in the NICU for the next month with our son. He's 4 months now and is healthier than ever. This is my interpretation of the song. This song could be about an internal battle in a person. Like a part of him denies faith but another part of him still has faith. This is my interpretation of the song. This song could be about an internal battle in a person. Like a part of him denies faith but another part of him still has faith. It could also be that the song denies faith altogether but religion is saying “All we need is faith”. But even though the song is denying faith, he still seeks truth and direction, maybe a true faith. Idk… I really like this song though. I like songs that make me think.
