Fully tuned R31 is so satisfying for the 80's touring car vibe, and it's joy to try it out on the WTC700 grind, it's fuel efficiency is good enough for common strats.
I had a R31 Series 2 Silhouette, It drove so well for a car of its time and the RB30E it had was a fun as heck engine. The GTSX was driven here in the Group A ATCC and went toe to toe with Sierras, BMWs and V8 Commodores. The Series 3 Body is definitely the best looking and was the best pick for the GTS-R
I was pretty excited for this car. Spent ages on making a Bathurst inspired livery before taking it for its first drive. That's time I'll never get back. The handling eats a bag...
My R31 was undrivable. The car just sometimes gets stuck and continues to turn in coming out of a corner. Seems to only of done this after I wide bodied the car cuz the other one I got that isn’t wide bodied handles good!
Try raising the front body height. You might be catching the tires on the wheel arches. A good rule of thumb is at least 10mm above the lowest allowable setting. If that doesn’t work, you might need some ballast over the front end.
Really happy to see this era of Skyline back in the series! Had to buy 2 of them so i could replicate the Tommy Kaira version from GT2! Awesome stuff!
Shame we couldn't have the 3L engine the M30 was packing
@@Karyovin True! Maybe one day!

This car is really fun to drive. Reasonably fast and surprisingly good handling. Looks great in VR to top is all off.

1:51 I'd still stick with the R32 V-Spec II over the NISMO simply because it doesn't have the speed warning chime.
This car is a grip monster. I can hardly wait for a reasonable engine swap, such as RB26DETT.. or maybe even RB30?!
Yes! RB30E or ET
Well it got an RB26
@haileyhai5436 Yeah can't complain there and I can tune it into a 28
It's from GT2 memories!
I love the skyline gts-r by the one I want gt7 to bring back is I think is the r30 RSX turbo it's counter part
Please please do a special projects build/tune for an accurate group A racing touring car 👍🏻
Was the HR31 removed? I had in my garage and now gone. I own the 31 coupe and slightly upset its now gone!
how do I get it

@@LayzeeGiant I never thought of that actually. Thanks I’ll check it out
Yea raise the height and tweak the roll bars
Sadly the Car isnt allowed at the GT R Cup Races
I was bummed about that too.
Well it's not a gtr so
What is that colour and rims?
super sillhouelle race is way better but I will give R31 a chance 😉👍
The handling is pretty weird, almost undriveable
thats just you
