I work with alot of heavy machinery and alot of it is basic parts until you get into the newer stuff with computers. I work in asphalt paving and most pavers you could buy most parts from a farm store and metal supplier. This is an awesome build. I haven't made it through all your videos and maybe you have covered it but I would like to see your cost and time rundown. I love watching people make a plan and just get out there and build what they want or need. Just awesome!

Excellent work, and excellent operator skills! The ground sure is soft where you are. Where I am the ground is basically layer upon layer of solid rock. Even some of the roughest, toughest machines have a rough go of it in some areas.

Сейчас нужен миниэксковатор, посчитал бюджет, сроки и купил бу, восстановление до состояния конфета заняло неделю работы. Но такой эксковатор как на видео обойдется точно больше мульта по детально. Тут Патрокла мосты только 100тр стоят по низу рынка бу. ОПУ 50, дизель 100, колеса 50, гидравлики на 500 и не хватит....
This is the best homebuilt excavator design I have seen. The size is perfect for typical "around the house" tasks, it looks well balanced, I'm sure it is easy on fuel as well. Congratulations to you for what looks like a professionally built machine. Would you be at all interested in selling plans?

Now what you need is to have the trailer designed or modified for dual purpose to also transport the excavator to a jobsite, then use as shown to relocate dirt on site. In early 1960's P&H Harnishfeger designed a fully hydrolic mini excavator called "STIK CLAM" with many of the features on your machine. It cost $12,500 with a custom trailer. I am restoring one of the 106 total that were built before they abandoned the manufacturing.
If this isn't the very best DIY build, I'll kiss your a$$ and give you a half hour to draw a crowd to watch!! I'm only the eleven millionth person to say how freakin great this is, but even so, it really IS so great that I'm not one bit ashamed to be that late in telling you! And I would do it again!! I just enjoy watching you operate it! Sure, I would like one and even though I have a shop, a welder, mechanical skills, etc., I, in all honesty, don't believe I could do as good as you have done with this build!! I'm not being humble, I'm being truthful. Thank you for sharing this wonderful piece of heavy equipment with all of us! Dig 'em up!!
