First time jumping with this beast, need to add a little more weight over the rear but I am really happy with the setup, anyone every driven a 2wd in the sand knows how hard it is to get them to work and I am very happy with the non paddle performance. Stay shreddy my friends👍
Looks like so much fun! It seems to handle the jumps really well considering the balance. Add that weight to the back as you said and it should be an absolute killer!
Right on, need to make a engine dupe and back firewall, center mount kits don't have inner fenders really, motors usually under the dash lol, I need to remake the front fenders a tad wider for the little increase in track width. 👍😎
Tamiya TS clear. 5 coats, I recommend getting or looking into a different clear coat. The tamiya clear looks good but was not very durable and took a long time to fully cure. Any automotive clear will work just make sure to allow the paint to fully cure before clearing, hope that helps 👍
@@DoubleClutchProductions thanks! I just bought some more clear paint and went crazy on the coats, i guess it's around 6-7 coats 🤣 I hope it won't easily scratch off my paint off
There is so much info in the multi part series, th-cam.com/video/GlHkxpRGVRw/w-d-xo.html no overdrive setup on the stealth gearbox, hobbywing brushless combo, all the info is in the build series, 5400kv hobbwing max10 combo, 2wd conversion, no overdrive gearbox with full metal gears, savox servo, proline powerstroke xt shocks in the rear with baja rey front shocks up front, rear mount battery, axle weights, long list hope this helps. Thanks for watching

Can you do more stuff with sand cars ? Like your buggys
@@tanklesspolarstar glad someone wants to see more, mee too, stay tuned 👍
@@DoubleClutchProductions thanks man just bought another baja rey lol
Maybe chop the bottom of the bed and whack a double spare tire setup in there?
Very hard to get them 2wd's started on loose sand, either it digs on itself or it just goes in circles 🤣
2wd is so much fun. Keeping it moving is a must , looks awesome dude 👍
Momentum and flotation are words I am learning living out near the dunes, hope to go full scale shortly 😀 👍😎
This is my home town area I love doing this stuff
Always looking for like minded peeps to hang with, hit me up
Amazing work!! Absolutely love how the project turned out for you. Gives me inspiration to build one of my own.

Heya man, quick question, what top clear paint did you use? Seems like your hard body doesn't have much scratches 😅
