It looks like the slider could get caught on the bottom of the wear sleeve when the suspension goes full droop. Can the sleeves be longer to cover the full travel of the slider?
The wear sleeves come with dividers that have the proper clearance to prevent this. Proper spring clocking to make sure the divider is sitting even is important when installing. We also can't make the wear sleeves too long as they are adjusted by the crossover and you don't want the sleeve sitting below the shock body if you had to adjust the crossover lower on the shock.
It almost looks like the slider was put in upside down because even when you put that on the machine and load it I can't see that spring ever being compressed enough that that sliders even get close enough to touch the crossover. if you look at the paused image at the end look how far that is away from the slider and I remember in prior videos they always said put the tall end up.
@@toddbrommel9803 The end of the video where the shock is on the car it is still extended without the suspension settled. When sitting at ride height the divider is about 2" away from the crossover. Only certain models require the divider to be flipped with the long side facing up. This is normally due to limitations with thread or spring length but generally most cars will run them with the long side facing down.
Been waiting two years for those sleeves, ordered them today for my Walker Evans Shocks.
U guys make me so happy
Ohhhhh these are freaking awesome!!!!!!!!!
Wish I had known about them sooner. I just installed one of your dual rate kits....

Sleeves are different length per application just for that reason. No issues at all.
