If you enjoyed this, here’s a playlist of other weird stream of consciousness vlogs I’ve made at shows: th-cam.com/play/PLmYpnwqLK2TOze2TVlWjwJcAQnRWseJSn.html&si=KvLtS2LDWchNkgEW 🙌
I think your coverage of Suberbooth is my favorite. Feels more like I'm traveling, hanging out with friends and experiencing the fun of the entire experience. Thank you.
I am so into this. The clippy vlog style is right up my alley. I came back to it over a few days to watch the whole thing, which is rare. It’s made me consider Superbooth 2025…
That’s Nick Kwas piloting the Easel - he has a keen sense on how to get moving, melodic music out of the Easel. There’s a full recording at th-cam.com/users/pyrofiliac
Too bad the PolyBrute12 caused such a commotion that Moog had to suspend introduction of the Muse. I mean, how can the Muse possibly compete.... unless they plan on introducing it at the price of a used PolyBrute6.
Outstanding video! I couldn't make it this year and it was a pleasure to watch you and your buddies have a fun time checking out new machines and enjoying hanging out! Thanks for the upload and for everything you do!
This is my favorite kind of Superbooth video. Sort of a slice of life, but still shows off a lot of cool gear, and great people. Looks like a really fun time. :)
Many thanks for the great Superbooth overview, your video really conveys the peculiar ambience there😉 Thanks for featuring the Manatee too ❤️ See you soon!
Awesome, really captured the vibe. Nearly bumped into you in town again the other day but was stressing about marking students work, hopefully speak to you next time
A very peaceful video about a peaceful comunity.People that are in the search for new sounds. I share this passion for new possibilities to express yourself.Wonderful world❤❤❤
Big thanks, @MylarMelodies, for rocking the Drop with us at Superbooth 2024 and spreading the word out! Your presence made it extra special. Until next time!
That looks like a GREAT time, and also, after watching this many mylarmelodies vids, I'm pretty sure that if you walked up and started playing something I'd KNOW it was you just by those hands lol
Excellent vid. watched it a second time in the background while working on docs and would look over when something sounded great. Korg PS-3300, Soma Flux, MSL drop, Nick Batt's voice, Lambda polypulse, PWM mantis, an actual gong, Of course the Buchla easel, and mmm Super 8
I want that Music Modular THING 😂. And thanks for your great video. Gives me some of that SB feeling that I had to miss this year. And you even went to Klunkerkranich! That’s something 😎
Thanks for this I really REALLY wanted to go to Superbooth so having this experience by mylarproxy is much appreciated (maybe next year I'll get my shit together and enjoy this in person X)
Music makes you smile. Music makes you dance, Music makes you happy, Music unites people. That is why we bleep ! This "travel vlog" made me smile. Made me happy. This was very fun to watch, can;t want to see the next Superbooth - who knows I'll be there too (I sure want to) 😁
i think this is the only video where someone gets to play the korg PS-3300. also, i appreciate the edits and wandering style. it's and entertaining superbooth video. cheers.
Great video! I’m hoping Korg release a more affordable synth based on the PS, perhaps in the format of the 2600M. Obviously a more modest voice count and polyphony, but the same basic design and sound.
The next paradigm; Every knob needs to be motorised. Given how much trouble I had crowbarring my jaw back onto my skull after the DROID moto video, I think this is a good thing. A very good good thing.
The vegan gyros are great, but if you aren't stratifying your meal components orthogonal to the direction of eating, then you're only getting lettuce and cabbage and sauce for the first 3rd of the meal.
Man the vegan gyros were the best I've ever had. It was nice to get to say hi to someone I've seen enough that it idiotically feels like you should recognize me through the sheer force of parasocial interaction.
Commenting mostly to boost engagemometrics. Also to express a personal preference / taste feedback. The shots between landing and the first synth could have used half a breath longer between each cut. It feels a little uncomfortably brisk for me. Almost anxiety inducing. Very minor quibble. Lots of pecking at my phone. Now to watch the rest, and enjoy the show. Thanks 4 posting.
Yeah probably the devil on my shoulder that says it’s important to cut to the chase a bit on YT! But I’m glad I have that stuff in, it’s nice to sense the whole journey, and will help me remember it

Hahaha I got my own chapter ❤ It was a delight hanging out with you.
Love what you do man!
i saw you both... just said hi. after this: youre free game. cu next year!
best sunglasses of the show
The best Superbooth video I have seen yet.
"What do you want to say?"
"Fart."
"Autism unites, at Superbooth."
Yep. That about sums it up 👌
Great job at capturing the weird, obscure and fascinating yet friendly atmosphere of attending Superbooth
I am so into this. The clippy vlog style is right up my alley. I came back to it over a few days to watch the whole thing, which is rare. It’s made me consider Superbooth 2025…
Thanks m8, that’s amazing. And as for superbooth I can’t recommend it enough.
@@mylarmelodies @StephenMcLeod That is what can happen when it is not only about the gear :D Nice video Alex!
The best Superbooth video by a wide margin. Charming and fun. You took us with you.
Actually felt like I was there 😅! Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful quirky time at Super Booth 24 ❤🎉~
That’s Nick Kwas piloting the Easel - he has a keen sense on how to get moving, melodic music out of the Easel. There’s a full recording at th-cam.com/users/pyrofiliac
Aha that would explain it. Thanks. Have seen Nicks jams before and they’re great. Only flew past so didn’t even clock who it was!!
best super booth video 2024
So fun to watch. I think you captured perfectly why everybody loves superbooth so much. Thank you for sharing! ❤
Thanks so much for this. Best Booth content, and looks like a total blow out! Couldn't quite make it fit this year, but planning next year already!
Captures the vibe of Superbooth rather nicely. Thanks for making and sharing.
Too bad the PolyBrute12 caused such a commotion that Moog had to suspend introduction of the Muse. I mean, how can the Muse possibly compete.... unless they plan on introducing it at the price of a used PolyBrute6.
Had a good laugh! Thanks for the video! Really enjoyed watching it!
the music in the buchla in the woods section is just mesmerising.
"I survived a Greggs coffee for this sake of this video"

I would just like to say this video was awesome! Thanks for sharing your time at the conference, I really enjoyed watching.
hey, was a pleasure meeting you and talk - great stuff, like how you cover the SB soooperly. and talk talk talk...
Very immersive experience, Thank you for this!
Many thanks for the great Superbooth overview, your video really conveys the peculiar ambience there😉 Thanks for featuring the Manatee too ❤️ See you soon!
Thanks - it sounded great too!!
I think the bonkers custom thing is called "Tonarium" by Tauron Lab - love it!
Thank you!! Need to investigate that
It conveys the vibe perfectly 🤩
Yes, one of the best SuperBooth videos. There are so many this week that its nice to see a different take on it. Very entertaining.
Sadly I have never made it superbooth, this video has convinced me that I should definitely should next year.
Finally someone who can catch what I experience
Awesome, really captured the vibe. Nearly bumped into you in town again the other day but was stressing about marking students work, hopefully speak to you next time

Big ups!!!! Such a great experience through your eye. Love all the cheeky shots. You da best. Like hangin out with you.
Great summary, after-movie and also portrait of Berlin!
That looks like a GREAT time, and also, after watching this many mylarmelodies vids, I'm pretty sure that if you walked up and started playing something I'd KNOW it was you just by those hands lol
bumping into so many of
my friends and yet we've never met (I don't think)

Thanks for sharing..really captured the fun vibes
Agreed with many others. If you want to know what it’s like, minus the exhaustion, this really captures it. This was my first. Won’t be my last.
I want that Music Modular THING 😂. And thanks for your great video. Gives me some of that SB feeling that I had to miss this year. And you even went to Klunkerkranich! That’s something 😎
Love the focus on people and culture and posi vibes. And gear.
nice rendition of Pete Standing Alone on that Korg poly at the beginning, sounds fucking amazing that thing!
Bleakest first minute of a synth video anywhere on the 'tube. Great stuff.
Great moments from this year's Superbooth. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us! ^^ Cheers!
Thank you Alex. I loved this video!
Thanks m8!!

SoundForce, Mad Custom Mixer - We need a tram to explore it.
Loved the video! The format was awesome. It looked like a good time.
Thanks for the shout out. Lovely seeing you last week.
Likewise and congrats on your big win!!
so many men with brown beards, glasses and a hat
A really good moment with Mylard ! big thank you.
Music makes you smile. Music makes you dance, Music makes you happy, Music unites people.

Thanks - I had to ask to get permission to enter the magic glass case!!
@@mylarmelodiesI saw many others try, and they all failed.
Great vid, really captures the feeling of Superbooth. Wish I could have made it this year.
So that’s what happened! 😂
Helle yes, this captures Superbooth very well. And not just because I’m in the video.
Thank you for your interesting documentary of TH-cam Synthluencers in the wild
Yes, mate! Your Berlin Why We Bleep street team has been busy!
Bravo, thoroughly entertaining, love your work. x
Awesome. Loved the mouse bit.
I thought to myself - that mouse could travel the world if it wanted to.
I would love it if the Music Thing Secret Thing came in a Pelican case like that! I'd pay more, even!
Phhwaaaaaar, that steak! Gutted i couldn't come this year - next time!
nice
I am crazy excited about the 1u spider!
1:20 Sounds just like Pete Standing Alone
Great video! I’m hoping Korg release a more affordable synth based on the PS, perhaps in the format of the 2600M. Obviously a more modest voice count and polyphony, but the same basic design and sound.
what the set of oppenheimer was actually like.
So good, you made me laugh so hard in the first minutes!!
Best superbooth Video so far. It really catches the vibes.
Ahh...a myler curated SuperBooth video. This should be good!
Awesome walkabout 😂😂😂
Vega Gyros....think that's what I am going to call my next module design.....
sounds like a Czech popstar that had a big hit in the late 70s.
@@DivKid yea....wasn't his single called "It's not meat inside"
top job sir, bloody top job. One year I'll make it. Next year. Maybe.
You had me at mad custom mixer. TBH you had me at Airport Mouse™
Just.... What a beauuuuutiful festival
Uuuuuu, the giant Nerdseq screen at 11:18 😍
Great video Alex, thanks for this
Brilliant.
Ha! Nice to see our much needed duster (and of course our modules 😉)
Great work on sequencer - you should absolutely do the mega 6quencer!
Will do! A lot of people loved it :)
Probably the best Superbooth video of the lot.
Fantastic video 👍🏻👍🏻
The next paradigm; Every knob needs to be motorised. Given how much trouble I had crowbarring my jaw back onto my skull after the DROID moto video, I think this is a good thing. A very good good thing.
Perfect timing for white asparagus season! With boiled potatoes & hollandaise, the Germans will be proud ha. Synths looked tasty too.
The vegan gyros are great, but if you aren't stratifying your meal components orthogonal to the direction of eating, then you're only getting lettuce and cabbage and sauce for the first 3rd of the meal.
This is the kind of insight I am here for 😂 I got lucky with my gyro distributions this year
I enjoyed this TH-cam video
Me too!
I wish that I went to super booth and talked to tom about his music modular thing.. Next year!!
the korg PS lacks of the forbiddenly poisonous cadmium oxide resonators :D
are all those people running free in the wild ? 😄
THIS IS BRILLIANT
Perfect video! ❤
Like this kind of collage videos
Done a few now! Superbooth last year, Synthfest and London Synth & Pedal Expo!
👏 masterpiece
Man the vegan gyros were the best I've ever had. It was nice to get to say hi to someone I've seen enough that it idiotically feels like you should recognize me through the sheer force of parasocial interaction.
Please make that giant filter became a real thing!😮

Thats the shit Alex. Thats a highlights reel. Ace
nice rod!
At 7:31 - You heard it here first, folks; Theo Von confirmed to be an incognito synth noodler.
Are you planning on releasing any info on your shed studio build. (Fellow dad in need of a dedicated space asking)
