NorCal Coast Liquid Sunshine Summer Phun

Found a "nice one" down along the zone. Could have wedged this tree, but, it would have been a tussle. The needle hit 15,000 psi a couple of times in the lifting process. Also, had an assistant to be helping with equipment moving from camp to camp. Super nice!
Ended up stretching her right on out. Think it was a 26 or 27" 40' and 23 or 24" 32' - to the spike not. Not sure what was left in the top.
We could see the effect of the bark swell ~ the 10:45 mark as I was trying to get the bar in the back cut without making contact with the Silvey.
Slight "pinch" bucking the butt log off. As I am only human...
Here we see the 1st outing into the wilds with the 31"er. Also, one of those "conjured up in my shop" operations. The 30"er I made was just a fuzz to short for my liking in this unit. The Oregon LW 30" is better balanced on the might 400, which pulls it smartly.
I was well pleased with the outcome of the bar length. The 31" still balances nicely with the 462. The extra 1" of length is a just enough to make a difference on the big ones.
