I've checked this comment section from time to time, amazed by the responsiveness and understanding from so many unkwnown people around the world. When I posted this comment I was 19, I had just returned from a solo trip in Portugal and I was about to start university, and I sincerely believed that my life would have changed drastically, and for the better. Today I'm 26, so many things have obviously changed, I've been in two relantionships, I've lost people and found other, and life has been curious and exciting and funny. Unfortunately, however, pain has never really left my mind, and the cage just got larger - it never truly disappeared. I went through therapy for three years, but when I stopped new ghosts started to haunt me again and again. Today I know that most of this time I carried on in a survival mode, for so long that I'm here again, in a no-man's land made of loneliness, regrets and missed opportunities and pain. But I still want to believe that I'll get out of this. There must be a place for me, for us, for all of those who commented and liked this post thoughout the years. I also wanted to thank you all for the kind and supportive messages. I don't know you, but I'm with you. We we'll get better.

Does anyone else get that feeling where you want your favourite bands to be known, but at the same time you really don't want them to be because it's your little secret and that's what makes them special to you? Is that just me? Because that's how I feel about Kodaline. :) Anyone else?

I wish I could talk to everyone in the world that feels the way I do just someone I know has felt the same way and has gone through the same issues as me, to let go of all my stress and anxiety but I can't do that so I am writing this comment but if you are going through something right now wether is because you got in a fight with someone or you're depressed it will get better I promise. Since I was a kid I've always wanted to do things related to music. I love writing, singing, and I had the guts to do it, I had energy and no shame. but in middle school people started bullying me so I lost my confidence, and when that happened I stop singing, I lost myself during those years, I had no clue who I was, what I would do. Now I'm studying theater, I'm slowly getting my confidence back, I went to am audition for the voice (didn't make it tho) I started singing again. But now, everything is different, cause I still don't know who I am.
