This is great stuff. Ive never seen a plumber in the states use a pipe bender but I just bought one (because of this channel) and plan on trying. Thanks

The second line you marked on the 90° bend how did you get it. Music was a bit loud

7:57 is the most confusing (the external/distal edge BELOW the diagram's centre line - to find the second, 45 deg bend centre), but this is the second giant milestone to understand the principle behind 45deg offsets. Hypothetically, if the last straight piece should be parallel to the first 125mm (going upwards, not to the left), you should place the guide under the line and align the proximal edge to the center line. I will test it in my workshop.

Nope - I disagree with 8:23 (and especially with 9:05 - perpendicular, final length will be too high by the doubled difference of your pipe mark line and the point on former)) it is a mistake causing the final straight length to be exactly 15mm higher up. If you place the pipe as before (bottom middle of the pipe on the drawn diagram), mark the mid line of the second 45 bend and then, line it to touch with your mark on a bender - you will get the exact length as per diagram. Dont believe? Have a look - I have shorten the first length to 100 to save the copper and tried to stay on one sheet A4 paper, hence a total width of 275. not 310: https : // photos. app. goo. gl / VWGKy9isZzP1dUHR8 (remove spaces-safe google photos)

To finish on a positive note, you have made me get up, go, try and test/learn by myself - and for that, I am very grateful. :-)

Sorry that was quite negative, I'll admit it was a bit of a knee jerk reaction.. I was trying to listen in and I found myself transported to some sort of jazz battle ?? (I'm sure there's a proper term for those)
Regardless, a new comer to the plumber world (3 lessons in) so currently watching all types of videos etc, I'll be sure to check more of your stuff out for sure!!
