This interview with Mr. Markandey Katju was even more enjoyable than his earlier one on NL. Mr. Katju comes out as intelligent and sensible (though with his own firm convictions that we may or may not agree with) What I truly liked was that he comes across as extremely playful each time (especially appreciable after all the deplorable nonsense he must have seen as a judge) He needs a bold yet sensible interviewer like Madhu Trehan who asks him probing and sharp questions, lets him speak and cuts him back / counters him where required.
Former Justice Katju is like a grumpy old grand-dad and Madhu is like a naughty little girl who keeps poking fun at him and he much like the people his age reacts in a flustered way. We all could do with a little humour in our lives.
