If it makes you feel better, I'm Polish and the dialogue still sounded convincingly eastern Slavic to me, though I couldn't quite hear the Russian or Ukrainian words I'm familiar with. I looked up the publisher and it's a Polish studio that made up the language for the game. To me, it sounds sort of like attaching Russian pronunciation and word endings to Polish roots, mixed with actual eastern-Slavic words.
I was pretty determined that it was a made up language because man I was tripping balls, trying to figure that out🤣

And they guessed a couple of words! 😀This language sounds really fun for any slavic speaking people I think, and it adds additional charm to this game.
I also thought that it sounds like Polish with Russian pronunciation or something like that, because I couldn't understand anything 😂 I'm from Czech republic and sometimes the dialogue sounds like when my Ukrainian colleagues are swearing but then I look at the subtitles and they are talking about normal stuff.. I didn't thought of the possibility of a made up language so I was just very confused 😂😂

Kamil "Kona" was basically a month and 3 days away from his 33rd birthday I believe. My condolences to those who knew him and were touched by his interactions (family, friends, etc.) This game was amazing and I hope this game gets noticed more by others it definitely deserves recognition
For context for people who don't know this game, this person was one of the voice actors(playing commissioner Andrieyev) and a friend of the developer. He passed away due to COVID a few years ago.

I think it's a gibberlish kind of language, but it's really close to some slavic language, - there is a lot of similar words that i can understand (i'm Ukrainian), for ex.: polizka bidlota (game) == policeyskaya bidlota (rus) == police-scum (eng, idk how do you offensively call policeman);
It's like slavic language mixed with Sims-lang xD tbh;
Also it's not just language: also map looks like a border with Georgia, Azerbaijan (+Armenian-Georgian border);
And commie theme of the game aaaaand many more things :D

Saw the first half of the stream live, so as soon as this appeared in my feed I absolutely had to re-watch the part with prisoner Ivan again. A bit bummed you cut out all the filler of you walking back in between each attempt; in my opinion it made the whole comedic timing of having to keep redoing the scene even funnier. Oh well, still a fantastic video and would love you see you do a blood fist run!

It's always fascinating to see how western Europeans reacts to the stuff that was a daily thing under communist regime. But if you ever wonder If that's how it really was, as a historian I must tell you: It was even WORSE. Don't let that sense of suprise and disbelief to fool you.
Anyways, the game is really great, and nothing stops us from enjoying it. I hope to see more of it after some updates, this time on the side of the Blood Fist. Or maybe some kind of a crazy run with "spin the wheel" when making the decisions along the game.

This game has a lot of Turkish names and surnames for some reason and some of them are female names like "Bahar" which means "Spring"

Do keep in mind that you might get lower views but you also get different communities of people, for example I found you from pacific drive and subbed. So it might be worth it to reach more people
I think my comment was deleted for some reason, but anyway. I'd love to see you try a few stupid things in this game:
1. Try to have a ride on someone's truck by getting in after sending them away
2. Try to take your crew with you on rides to fight off ambushes (not sure if it's possible though)
3. Try to shооt an escaping smuggler, I'm curious what's gonna happen
4. What if you shооt smuggler's tires before they try to escape? You can go out to check matching descriptions of the cars on the line
5. What if... just what if you use a knife on a goat?
1. He did sort of but didn't want to leave the border post.
2. Don't think that's possible.
3. The smuggler dies, you can still retrieve contraband as normal, just no prisoner.
4. It doesn't seem to do much, he did it a couple times in episode 1 and 2.

hey insym, i don't know you'll see this comment, but if you do, can you play the game outer wilds? it is an amazing open world exploration game. it have some horror elements, but it isn't horror game. except the dlc. it is pure terror. but i recomend playing it after the main game. i really hope you play this game in future, i think you'll love it! 🙂

I think you also had a big advantage with the stream helping you - so getting perfect game was easier. Though stream baits too - quite a few times throughout the playthrough they noticed smth you didn't.

I was actually bummed when someone mentioned that this language is just gibberish. Devs could have used already existing interslavic - it's basically esperanto for slavs.
But I do appreciate a nice kurwa placed in between. Gives off this nice, warm and cozy feeling of home.
it's not full gibberish , sometimes they throw in real words, at least Russian but i've perhaps heard polish and others as well. It's a well done gibberish lol

one of the reasons i prefer watching the youtube instead of twitch is because of how annoying the chat is. literally as soon as a car pulls up, chat just starts backseating like crazy without even giving him a chance to look at anything. chat seriously needs to shut up and let him play
It's a shame that I wasn't able to catch streams to say that perception level is really good for checking age. It's painful to see him struggle with that
But overall I really enjoyed this playthrough and hope to see him siding with the Blood Fist one day

Yeah you definitely had too much money, I think they mostly expected people to play this by themselves, considering you had twitch chat helping out whenever you missed something, you made so much money extremely fast

In the video he said he doesn't really plan on doing more for now. It's a lot of time to record and edit a single episode and not that many people are even watching, going by the views. Pity, because I enjoyed the series, but at the end of the day this is his job and I'm sure he wants to get paid decently for the amount of work he puts in.

well, them peacefully getting caught, is how it works... you should watch those shows about it, like airport security... they barely try to escape.. how many times have you seen in the news "a chase has started in the airport (or borders of countries)"? often those smugglers are poor people who need the money so badly, they agree with criminals to do it (or get forced to do it)... so they really go without intentions to make it worst than what it is when they get found... (sad reality) but yep, Nobody is too dumb to use marks to show they are smugglers. XD
