I promise you she have a great voice and a great sound. MISIA pioneered and ushered in RnB into Japanese consciousness. She was regarded as the Japanese RnB Queen. Although I was exposed to Ms. Utada Hikaru at first. (I’m from the Philippines 🇵🇭) When I discovered Misia in 2008 I was hooked! With that 5 octaves, who would not be obsessed with her. I found her on a video of Mariah vs Shanice vs Misia vocal battle. The video is sadly deleted now. That’s early TH-cam for you. But as her musical career flourished, Misia gravitated towards more urban and jazz sound. But Misia ventured in different sounds and genres. She can do Rock, Ballad, Techno, Disco, Inspirational songs and RnB of course. And a lot more genres of music. I just love MISIA!! Hope to see her live!! ❤❤
