I agree completely. Rephr are good workhorse brushes at a fair price (on sale). I tend to reach for them frequently as they're more affordable to replace. I have had some of the brushes that were pokier than others, so I don't think the same level of quality control is in place as other fude. Again, give the price though, I'm fine with it.

I love Hakuhodo eye brushes and Wayne Goss best. I use small brushes because they work best on me and these 2 brands make great small brushes. I do like Rephr but agree with you that they aren’t lux. I wish Wayne would bring back his squirrel hair brushes. I was able to get a full set when he first launched but he hasn’t done those in several years now.

I think he has moved to makeup, I don’t know why. I suppose his brushes were also made by Hakuhodo. I have several WG brushes. I will talk about them later on, maybe in comparison with something still available

This was so helpful! I do like the Rephr 13 a lot. They were the first fude brushes I ever bought. It was a great way to figure out what shapes and sizes I liked and were useful to me. I’d love to see a video on other fude eye and face brushes you think work well!

I have just ordered a couple of rephr brushes during the sale, I am excited to try them! I am thinking to buy two sonia g brushes as well, looking forward to watching your comparison video!

Sonia G is top quality without compromises. And she put a lot of research for unconventional shapes. Rephr is a great deal! I hope you like them!

@@bobmindset yeah I really want to try her brushes. Which ones do you recommend particularly? I am thinking to try worker and builder brushes.

I’ll make a video about them. It depends on the formula you use. If you use delicate formulas, I would go for floppier brushes. Sonia’s tend to be denser, so they’re perfect for modern formulas like baked-gelée. My favorites are the dyed ones from the Sky eye set.

@@bobmindset thank you for the break down! Yes, I want to get them for Tom ford’s baked gelee formula, and also other creamier eyeshadows I have.

I really love my Rephr brushes. Super soft and affordable especially at a discount. And for us European consumers no addtional VAT and custom fees! I just wIsh the handles were a bit longer.

I’m glad you like them! Vat is included in the final price. They have an EU warehouse so no import fees!

Hello.. I'm planning to buy rephr brushes from London.i'm worried about vat and custom prize but from your comment.. I don't have to pay any extra charge at all right? Only shipping fee? What if my order is around 80 💷?

That is one of the things I like about Rephr with Hakuhodo increasing there prices this is a nice way to get fude brushes at a reasonable price, especially with their sales and concept store discount prices. You can also try Piccasso brushes they are I think a japanese made korean brush company, their quality is good and their prices are comparable to Hakuhodo, the only problem is they are mostly available in Korea and you will have to import them.

Yep, the price point is the great advantage of Rephr. No way I’m buying other brushes, I’m fine for the next 100 years 🤣
