These things are entirely underestimated these days. I have 5 of the 210s and 400s running 24/7 without a hiccup, sourced from ebay and a few bars/venues. They really push out good clean wattage compared to anything sold today for the price. Running 2 at 70v for outdoor speakers, other 3 for indoor subs and mains. So much repair maintenance and software glitches on the other equipment i have all the time, meanwhile these things sit on the bottom of the rack just doing what they do best. Bulletproof, flexible, economic and silent running units for home theater!
I work at the Dick's Sporting Goods in Homestead, PA. There is a Crown branded amplifier in the bottom of the audio system rack. Above it, there are several rack mount boxes that have knobs for controlling the volume for each zone. The zones are called Bikes, Stadium, Cashwrap, Stock/Offices, etc. Above those, there is a "Play Network" box which acts as the source for the audio which I guess comes from the Internet via an Ethernet cable.
Each zone is controlled by a TOA 900 series mixer. with plug-in modules with three screw terminals and a "sensitivity" adjustment. The amplifier is a Crown CT-210.
I would suspect possible yes, easy no. These amps are so cheap that imo the time investment would not be worth it. Much easier to just buy a higher power amp. Thanks for watching!
i bought a Crown Com-Tech 1600 with 400 wats per chanel in 8 ohms it works fine and weights a ton but cost is low and its heavy duty quality build, made in usa
200 watts x2 = 400 the 10 denotes revision to PIP cards. The legendary Macrotechs add output devices & bigger power supplyfor 2 ohm stability and front panel gain (touring amps). Comtech are install (by professional) amps set and forget rear gain control and only 4 ohm stabilty. New the cheapest xxxTech amps were $2200 for a 210 ??? IIRC. TODAY COMTECHS AND MACROTECHs are $5k-$12k PIP Came in many flavors ie. DSP and or AES inputs the BB = balance inpouts.

Looked like the fan is thermostatically operated - wasn’t on when you tested it
I think it's electronically controlled. It spun at startup, and then stopped.
