Realistic but not good for balance. I could barely tell the difference between sound of old gun. galil sounds like m4 and p250 sounds like p2000. they all too loud as well to hear footsteps

I much prefer the new sounds over the old ones except for the USP and A1's, never used the A1-S again after they changed its sound until it was meta
personally I think the new gun sounds are leagues better than the old ones
Old Ak sound is insane. I think it also made 20 % more damage because of the sound

Csgo is getting better with update. The only thing i miss is how old major and tournament pro match has that magical hype (dreamhack 2014, fnatic bizarre moment like the 4 man awp on mid dust 2 and boostmeister on overpass, happy inferno ace, cobblestone still in the map pool, casters that i feel much better than the current one (they still good tho but nowhere near the old one) ).

I started playing CSGO since 2013 months prior of the release of the Arms Deal update.
The whole aspect of the game was like an improved version of CS Source but with the continuity of the updates, it slowly reached its final form as the Counter-Strike we know today.
Well, not really "final form", because, updates are, always coming up...

2022 -150 FPS
I got 50 fps or 60 fps on Old Csgo, meanwhile i got 42 or 30
2017 - 300 FPS,
Its sad that on the setup I have now 6 years ago I would have twice as many fps, in the game that was released in 2012... 4 years ago I bought a 144hz monitor because I had 250-400 fps, now on the same pc I have 100-200fps and lags due to the wrong amount of fps to refresh the monitor. Source 1 is bursting at the seams.

Miss the old voice lines of the FBI because they were a faction to hostage only maps and during a 2018 update, they share the same voice lines as the SWAT.
That's called Valve being lazy instead of recording more voice lines for that faction considering they make a lot of money off skin transactions.

also, the SWAT aren't used anymore as a faction, the FBI still are... why would they record different voicelines just to excuse a faction that no new maps will have?

I love every detail that has changed in CS:GO in these last 10 years: maps, sounds, chickens, agents, gameplay, etc. Always constantly improving, and this is just the beginning! ❤
Beside sounds, movement, some map changes are useless and garbage... yeah I don't think you were playing in 2013 and 2014 when it had character. Sounds update is probably worst yet because rEaLiSm....

I remember pre-ordering this game then playing it, but basically remember nothing from playing it at this time except for maybe just Arms Race. This is all so strange.

but im gonna be honest with ya, 2013 weapon sounds can make your ears go bye bye even when you play cs 50% volume, i like the old one two, but that it's just too lound (exept the M4-s and Usp-s thought, they're sound unrealistic but yet they're sound satisfied asf)

Правда некоторые я бы взял из ксс, потому что большинство старых карт это как раз урезанные версии из ксс, например инферно где на т спавне было 4 разных колокола. Хотя для меня пик кс был именно в 2017 году, при гидре, и как раз перед выходом нового интерфейса и бесплатности игры
@@TheMrchor старый согласен лучше, у самой видюха GeForce 740М 100-150fps бывает до 200fps, а если играть с GFN то хуже Windows XP будет, 10-20fps, а при этом скорость интернета 5Mbps/sec (200ping в онлайн играх)
I love the old sound and old maps, yeah I know the new sound is easy to hear and no eco, bứt I still love it. the old map are really dark in all maps, it really hard for T, i remember the day adjust the monitor to see the enemies more better :3

The old green FBI models and gun sounds + ragdolls were better in my opinion.
Cannot be the only one that feel like the "new" weapon sounds makes the kickback from most of the weapons feel VERY pronounced, almost a bit distracting? At least weapons like the Nova for example almost felt "squishy" back on that old sound... but holy hell did it sound like a missile launcher

There was an update to change how sounds sound while inside/outside in csgo, so the changing environment kinda messes it up a bit
i have never played old cs and im one of the newer gen players but i love the sounds of the reloads of the old cs

2013 cts while defusing a bomb were like "hey, this isnt you, please dont explode."

Wow, most of the old sounds are so much better imo, I remember how I loved the sound engine in GO when it came out (maybe a bit too much of reverb, but you almost felt the raw power of shots because of that). Some new sounds are utter garbage. The Negev - which was a terrorizing beast previously - or the MAC10 sounding like a damn airsoft rifle to me. At least the AWM or the AK is still nice. But those are exceptions. :(

я скучаю по старой озвучке FBI почему нельзя было записать фразы с тем же самым голосом для карт где дефузят БОМБУ, но нет вместо этого они наложили ужаснейшую озвучку SWAT вместо старых FBI просто потому что в старой озвучке не было фраз для разминирования бомбы и некоторых других
P.S. У старых FBI есть фразы связанные с бомбой по типу "They got the bomb"

i started csgo much later because it ran awful on my pc back in the days (yeah, the old build ran very bad while it was much uglier lol). after the revamp it is much smoother but still laggy on windows. on linux it runs smooth for some reasons. however the old Source-like build looks ugly it has much more props/objects and physics. the new build has cleaner overall looking maps but less fun. oh and the inbuilt "pay for unboxing" game is still not fun, old maps still missing and still too much cheaters/smurfs online.

Old P2000 was up there with the most satisfying sounds in all of CS imo. The current one sounds like pure shite. Most of them are worse now except perhaps the silenced ones.
