Hazy Maze Cave WORLD RECORD during a 120 star speedrun?! (no BLJ)

This HMC is pretty much unstoppable.. I cannot see anyone ever beating this, considering that the 100 coin had the perfect RNG and absolutely no mistakes! Now keep in mind that this is without doing the BLJ for the toxic maze star, but this is a great example of what can be achieved in this stage with normal strategies!

To everyone wondering why he does a BLJ when he still says no BLJ : he's actually talking about the Toxic Maze BLJ which he doesn't do (but I know that Paracusia does it), because many runners already do the 100 coins + reds BLJ (it's worth it because it saves a lot of time). @@dronkusdonkus9190 It's just that i watch a pretty wide variety of content, and i don't always check the comment section, but when i do, i wanna say on no less than half of those videos, not only do i see this person, but they're often at the top, at least in recent memory. Also part of the reason i think its weird is because they have almost 1k subs and no videos.
I get that people find comments like this annoying, i just really felt the need to say it at the time.

Is there any way to improve this with the current strategies used? Seemed almost flawless to me. Maybe something like 0.3 sec can be cut from the whole stage like this.

yeah just more precise movements, the RNG he had was insane and he nailed all the tricks, but just his movement overall could have saved a few seconds

What is BJL?
You mean BLJ, which means Backward Long Jumps, a glitch which allows you to get a lot of negative speed to clip through doors, thin walls or simply to go fast through a level. It's mainly used in TASes, because it's hard to control Mario while going so fast, so there isn't many BLJ's in RTA runs.

But you did a blj at 1:41 in what sense do you mean 'no blj' then? (I read below that it refers to the toxic maze star blj strat, but in my opinion you can't say it's no blj, bc you techniqually did one).

There's only stage RTA's on speedrun.com which is slightly different than this. He does the metal cap star which is considered a secret star
