Can't fully agree with you. Yes, the full-fat Range Rover is immaculate, Velar and Evoque also got prettier, but this Sport is somehow much uglier to me. I don't like that they moved reg. plates lower both front and back. I find the previous model to be more sporty in terms of design.
Cars look so good with some white snow or dirt on the tires. Sort of highlights the size of the wheels that would otherwise just disappear visually in the dark wheel wells.
This is nice but personally i like the previous gen better, not really a fan of the simplistic look of the front and rear end. I feel like they nailed it with the last gen from a design perspective, it has a sporty look, but still manages to maintain its strong luxurious presence. I feel like the modernization neuters it a bit… lol
That's fair! I agree with some design cues being too different. But I'll be honest the more I see them the more I'm starting to like them. Thanks for watching!
loved the neutral and calm way of your reviews, your first vid I saw was from the RR Vogue. I´d like to hear your words between these two cars. some reviews say they drive Totally different and the others say the that they are very alike drivingwhise. love to hear your opinion. which do you prefer and why ?
Thank you so much for your comments! Hmmmmm I like the sport only because I like smaller vehicles more. The full size is extremely comfortable and smooth, handling is of course not as nimble thanks to its size but that also doesn't mean it's bad. So it really is going to depend on your preference, in my opinion, you can't go wrong with either. I'm looking forward to seeing the new sport svr and see how they can improve! Thanks for watching!
Great looking Range Rover, I love the older generation but at the same love this new design, and people who are not feeling it now will come to appreciate this in years to come. I know it's a lot of money but the quality shows esp the seats in which I think RR are one of the best. No doubt about it no matter the negative comments from some people out there talking about reliability issue on RR they make the best looking off roader out there by far and to be honest most modern cars have some issues esp the German cars now
Personally think that with the front end if the depth of the front lights matched the depth of the front grill it would look much better. Looks very odd being shorter. Also the lower front tow cover in black would break the bumper up a little and make it not look so deep.
No one ever describes the 4x4 system, default front to rear torque split; max torque that can be sent to each axle; and LSD, what, none, rear only, or both? This makes a difference in traction and on various types of surfaces. Anyone?
It's not bad but i prefer the more agressive look of the previous gen. Also I don't like the front end when theres a grille, normal paint underneath it, then another grille, another piece of paint, another grille and yet another painted part. It just looks so stacked, heavy and not dynamic
Not on this one 🙄😒 for the price it should have had some! And you can't even upgrade them in this trim, has to be an hse to upgrade them to massage and the first edition has them standard 🫠 Thanks for watching!
@@ObsessedAutoReviews ahhh man. The 2 things stopping this car from being excellent is the gas mug and those massage seats. I hope you do a hse one or the first edition. Nuts for the price point. But great review man, keep up the excellent work 👏
I test drove this yesterday, there is a strange hum the electric brake system makes and I could not stop myself from noticing it. EXTREMELY annoying, I tried this on two other vehicles hoping this was an isolated issue but it wasn't. Walked away with a migraine and not the car.
Yeah with the whole complex engine setups we have nowadays, it can definitely feel a bit off for some. Personally I didn't notice much/didn't bother me much but it's an individual scenario for everyone. Thanks for watching!
I probably won’t buy one of these and it’s nothing to do with the predictable comments here about reliability (or lack of it) - I’ve had four Land Rover/Range Rover models and nothing’s gone wrong with any of them. I went to test drive this latest RRS recently and whilst it’s a lovely machine inside and out, they are no longer available with the Meridian Surround Sound system (at least not here in Australia). I’m also not a great fan of the tacky black plastic centre console or the 13 inch screen. The tech is great but it looks like it’s been velcroed on to the dash. I have one of the last of the series twos built and it isn’t going anywhere yet.
JLR will sell bucket loads of these, the whole range ( excuse the pun) look better than anything German or Japanese, I'm in North Cyprus at the moment all the top casino hotels have either the vogue or New R/R sport as there pool cars they just have presence & turn heads 😀 Car production is flat out with up to 2 years waiting lists, For I personally worth the wait, any negative comments mostly down to jealous people who can't afford a brand new one
The new RR Sport and fullsize will definitely be popular among the affluent! I love them both. The exteriors and interiors are so nice and well appointed, looking forward to the new Sport SVR! Thanks for watching!
Love the l494; which I own, the l461 is beautiful, but I am not sure I like it as much as the L494. I think for me the rear end is too similar to the Velar perhaps. I also am disappointed that the V8 is a BMW twin-turbo instead of a supercharged engine. All that being said; I have an l320 and an l494, and I am sure in the future I will end up purchasing an l461 too.
The velar styling is something I'm getting used to as well. But after spending some time with this I definitely fell in love with the design and interior. Thanks for watching!

Firstly congrats on the new rover!! Secondly that's crazy af 😮😮😮 but now we have a luxury tax of I think 10% so whoever buys this will have to pay that extra on top of the car price, maybe it'll get close to the price in Ireland 🇮🇪 Thanks for watching!
You're correct sir! The store ended up putting on the 22" winter set and I wasn't able to see the 23" options from the factory because they stored it already 😩 Thank you for watching!
Looks awful. Looks nothing like a Range Rover should. Cheapened and too round. Glad I got the 2022 SVR. I have zero interest in this design or a PHEV. They seem to be out of touch with who buys their vehicles and why.
They were trying so hard to make the new model look different, they made the headlamps and rearlamps smaller (thinner) and had to put the plate number placement at such an ugly spot. Come on
16:25 the older model looks better. Range Rover is shanking the imagine. I’d imagine due to the hate they refresh it to make it more aggressive. G wagon is taking over because of their boxy look
Almost perfect if they are reliable 7-10 years after production despite the standard/manufacturer recommended servicing intervals and schedule. After the manufacturers warranty ends, the modern day land rover is very unreliable
@@ObsessedAutoReviews they just don’t make them like they used to. And You can certainly say that about classics and so on, but I’m sorry the L322 just exudes class, nothing about it is trimmed or minimized, and the same goes to the L320. Long live the L320 and especially the L322 autobiography. All that car needed is a Remap and a Cat Delete.

You can, I think higher trims have them standard, but lower trims have a JLR genuine accessory you can purchase.
