Great job Joe! Lock and Lean is a great course that I highly recommend to anyone looking to continue improving their riding skills. As Paul the Motor Guy says....PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!
I like the point you make when you said you got into your head. The mental aspect is a big aspect of riding. Shook your confidence. Having to overcome that helps build Mega confidence.
Mad respect for graduating from L&L, Joe!! 🤛. I've had my eye on this class since watching "Cue" sing its praises. From a total immersion perspective, it looks like the best all-around slow-speed course because of its multi-day component. Would you say L&L is next level compared to some of the single-day courses offered? Congratulations again; well-deserved!
Thanks brother. I would say it's the next level. Taking Robert Simmons course multiple times and practicing what he preaches really got me prepared for it. Not to mention Lock and Lean has multiple classes that build on one another. Looking forward to attending the other courses. Appreciate you watching!
Excellent job Joe. Looks like a great course. Now you know what I’ve been through. Just add another four weeks with sand pits, skid pan, traffic sign’s light random change, up and down hill turn and U turns, traffic stops, high speed precision chases, firearm’s Etc. welcome to my world. Great job Joe.
My first bike is a purple 98 FXD, Its got a racing wavy kind of vibe in the graphics on it, I just bought it a few weeks ago and I get a lot of compliments on the paint job. I then bought my uncle a black shovel head trike and a purple evo trike with super light graphics. It looks awesome as well. .
Great video! I did 101 in Nashville and 102 in Loves Park. I didn't pass 102, so I'm going to practice up and return again. Best wishes to you on your Lock and Lean climb.
This was an excellent video. From start to finish it was informative, realistic, motivating and encouraging. Thanks so much for taking the time Joe. I've been riding for nearly 3 years enjoying both long distance riding as well as practising my slow speed skills for all that time on a 2011 Yamaha XVS650 Classic. Last month I went full licence and began riding a 2008 Suzuki Boulevard C109R. Awesome beast of a machine weighing 370kg dry so, a lot heavier than the Yam. I'm back in the car parks again getting used to the new bike. Given the similar weights would the course you attended also apply to the C109R?
Thank you very much! This course would apply to all 2 wheel motorcycles. From cruisers, sport bikes, and adventure bikes. The same techniques are still used. Thanks for your feedback and watching!
Thanks brother. I would say to do the course anyway! It's good to take different courses. You learn different things from all of them and then you mold into what works for you. This is the 4th class I've taken.
@@JoeGoeMotorcycleAdventures unfortunately there’s no lock & lean in Houston or I would have. My instructor is a former motor officer that left the unit 3 years ago, so he puts me through some good training though. Riding high and forward in the saddle was a game changer for me, when I had my seat redone by Russell, I had them bring it up an inch and forward and inch, big difference making turns and being in control.
@@JoeGoeMotorcycleAdventures and I just had rotator cuff surgery at the end of May so it’s going to be a while before I can handle the bike safely again.
I own a purple bike also. Haha. It’s actually the 2020 Road King Special, that had the limited paint job for that specific bike. The actual color is Zepher Blue and Black Sunglo. Beautiful! 😂
Great job! They don't get you with the additional courses though. You just can't help yourself and take the next one because it's so much fun and beneficial! 😂

Yes sir! One of the best courses I've attended. It's top notch. Oh you forgot the last of Paul's saying "And ride safe" 🤣
Omg I just now saw this and I was just talking about doing a training like a motor officer video on your livestream! 😂 Great minds think alike
Yes ma'am! 🤣 They are some of the best riders out there!
I like the point you make when you said you got into your head. The mental aspect is a big aspect of riding. Shook your confidence. Having to overcome that helps build Mega confidence.
You're definitely right about that! It's amazing how one little thing can damage your confidence!
Respect for this undertaking and for learning the best way!!
Appreciate it brother!

@@JoeGoeMotorcycleAdventures Thanks for responding, Joe, and that's great insight. I'll plan to take them in that order (RS then L&L). ✌🤘

I’m sure you had a great experience. We hope to take course (101) later this year or sometime next year.

Thank you Becky! The beauty of not passing is that you still learned valuable knowledge. Can't wait for 102. Appreciate you watching!
Instructor David Fairlie shared it. Again, this is an excellent recap of the class.
Thanks!
Thank you so much Jeff! I appreciate you brother!
Congratulations Joe!
Thank you very much!
Awesome Joe love it good job
Thanks brother. It was a great time!
Enjoyable video. Great perspective. Isn't this a great class? I'm glad we got to be in the same course together.
Thanks Becky! Such a fantastic course. Can't wait for 102 in May. I appreciate you watching!
@JoeGoeMotorcycle
you were fun to be around. Your energy is contagious!
Great riding
Thank you! Slowly getting better. Appreciate you watching!
The video was great Joe and I did like the purple motorcycle personally but I would want it in a flat purple
Thank you very much! Flat purple would be pretty cool. I appreciate you watching and leaving your feedback!

Hey! Joe,
Great job my friend!!
Thank you Ken!
Joe, that really cool that you did that course, if I didn’t have my instructor, I’d be looking for the same course 👍🏼.

Good video Joe.
Thank you!
I'd love to know what kind of bars the last guy, with the police seat, has. They are higher, but not too high.
I'm really not sure. I didn't get any of his contact info. Sorry about that!
Very cool Joe. This is definitely something I'd like to do one day. Ride safe and enjoy. 👊✌️👍
Thanks for watching brother. I would highly suggest taking the course. It was a blast!

Where are you located? I like to receive training from police training. Is there any cost involved? How much? Thank you.
I left a link in the description section with Lock and Leans website. You can find all of the details there.

My wife would steal a purple bike. Don't let her know where you parked...lol😂
😂😂 fair enough
This was a good vid...I just might take the course 👀👀👀 lol
BTW I'm not stealing a purple bike lol

dont tell violet
🤣
Don't get the whole drill sergeant thing.
It's just discipline. This course is almost identical to what motor officers take. I'm in the army do it doesn't bother me 🤣
Looks like a beginner course.
Not quite 🤣 I'm not saying it's the hardest course, but it's definitely not for beginners
@@JoeGoeMotorcycleAdventures yeah. Advanced beginners lol
