Very realistic video! I was able to find a place in Munich within 30 days by the grace of God (and having a tech job…)!! It takes patience and a lot of luck 😅
Super interesting video :) I'd love to see a video with some insight of different popular neighborhoods in/around Munich to rent in because I had a difficult time finding that information on TH-cam!
hahaa bump up the number and the map pops 🤣Yes indeed. Honestly, the shared bathroom looks in great condition, and a room of this size with your own kitchen in the city centre for 400 is fantastic value. You were very lucky to find this!
ohne Provision usually just means that it's a "Zwangsversteigerung", if you scroll down and actual read you'll usually see it but they never mention it directly. And in this case it's not only not the real price, you are also not allowed to make a "Besichtigung".
Should be easy to find one. Germany needs a lot of software engineers and more! I think now is the perfect time to look into Immoscout24, because the university semester just started so not many people are looking for apartments. Make sure to have also all your papers in order and 3 months of your last earnings as well as a job contract. That helps a lot
For an exact same size flat in London I was paying 1150 pounds a month. But even here in Spain you wouldn't be able to get an apartment for 400 in Madrid (I think it's comparable city to Munich). The prices are good in Munich! Not sure why everyone says it's "super expensive". When a senior engineer earns 75k or more.
It's mainly for people that's starting out and are students. For people that are working and earning 3k a month is fine. But still not a lot of people get 3k a month
It's 75k BEFORE tax, when you account for taxes it's much lower. Also good luck finding anything less than 1k per month in Munich, anything less usually it is just WG - which means only room, not an entire apartment or not in nice location - you'd have to commute on several trains to work
@@SlavaBagmut Sure but in Madrid or Barcelona the rent is also 1k minimum, in the center and earnings are 30-40k even for IT. If you are very lucky you can earn 50k. Germany is not expensive at all, expensive is Spain and France (Paris is on a different galaxy).
I started looking cause I wanna move to Munich next year and I wanted to get an idea about the prices and everything, but all the apartaments are "for exchange" 😩
Hi! Well produced and though out video, thx! I was meaning to ask you, do you believe a 30sm studio (with a private bathroom this time ahah) for 1000€ warm (electricity and wifi included) is a good deal for Munich? The studio is also very well connected to the public transport system
@@fernandotabora Thank you for your input! Btw I just watched a couple of your videos and I had to subscribe. Insane content quality! Keep up the good work buddy :)
halo. wir planen to work in munich germany by nxtyer and im seaching for platz to stay with my partner. can u reccomend me one of the cheapest appartment to stay for long term use?
I would recommend you to look for a cheap apartment through Immoscout.24. There you can select your budget and look for apartments here. But most probably you will be paying around 1300-1600 for an apartment for two people.
This sounds unbelievable to me as someone who's having hard time finding even the sublet or wg at this price. Minimum prices i see are around 500 these days😅.
Thanks for the info! I'm starting my Masters at LMU in October. When is too early to start looking for apartments or joining social groups? Is too early a thing?
Most probably throught friends you can find Apartments like this. Most of the apartments that are online are way more expensive. So maybe through people from her work or university can help her. 🤔
LOVE THIS! So simply work about 80 hours per week so that you can sleep in a place with your own bathroom :D sounds appropriate for Munich! Thanks for mentioning my video btw ;)
Hi :) Awesome video! I will move to Munich to work, If you will say your top 5 neighborhoods to live, which ones would you say? How long did it take you to find an apartment?
It's very relative. It all depends how much money you have, what's your job and how good is your application skills. For me, someone that had basicly non of the those, it would take me around 1 to 2 month to find a room, with out being picky. But is normal if it takes longer. If you need more help, just DM on IG and I can help you more out
In Mannheim, Germany I have a huge 3 bedroom apartment with a terrace for under 500 eur a month. But also, this is a very lucky situation I got.
Never let it go hahahahah
@@fernandotabora That’s the only downside! I feel like I can never leave because these prices just don’t exist anymore!
Munich is gorgeous by the way. Looks like you have a nice life there.
It's full of work and haven't enjoyed the city in a while, but it is man!
Living in Mannheim is living in Arabia, you are not in Germany any longer 😂😅

Sadly it's all about paying more to get something faster. If you are looking for something around 900-1k that can take a bit longer

Yes, people here are renting rooms or apartments for around 700-900 euros. You just need time
Can you work two full time(remote) jobs in Germany? I mean is it authorized?
I don't know sadly
Probably not. There is a legal Limit on working time from employment.
As a freelancer this might be possible
