Dear Leonora, you are absolutely right, we have to be very alert with our body because cancer is currently a disease that affects more and more people, I also have breast cancer and am being treated with chemotherapy until the end of September, followed by surgery and radiation. I have good hope I get better but it's an uphill battle and a long road to walk. The plant is wiegela and one of my grandfather's favourites. White foxgloves would look lovely there and yes one of my favourite plants too. Very Beatrix Potter. I adore cow parsley too. When it comes up with its lace like flowers it heralds warmer weather and it is so so pretty.

I had a "normal' mammogram just 2 months before I found a lump that was cancerous - self-checking is so important. I live alone and love it and yes never thought I would say that but after years of living with husband and 2 partners I prefer it. I feel safer, more confident and contented than I ever did living with someone. It is special and I think it should be more revered than it is.

As a breast cancer surviour with 2 lumpectomies and all lymph nodes removed and 25 sessions of radiotherapy, all has been well for 20 years, on a lighter note love the flower arranging and you putting the little fur babies to bed they look so cute, you definitely looked exhausted I think it will be a long lie for you😂 🎉
Can I please check if you also took Tamoxifen? I’m 2 years in.

I am 4.5 years a breast cancer survivor. My friend posted on Facebook to check your breasts. I am forever grateful that she did that because that is when I found the lump. She saved my life that day. We definitely need to talk about it. You bring joy to everyday Leonora and I adore your vlogs. I am in Australia and so miss the UK especially the scenery. Leonora, i love my husband very much, but when he is away, i really do enjoy home alone time! It's an unbelievable sence of calm i am having and the abitity to do something ,i was postponing to do, because i was busy. So i perfectly understan how you are feeling!

I love your videos. I spend a lot of time on my own, as I have been disabled for 22 years now, and lost my lovely husband 4 years ago, we are stronger than we think when faced with adversity. ❤
I am sorry for your loss. xx, please don't feel that you're alone, I know how you feel, I lost my parents a while ago and my in-laws last year, I am married with step children yet It can feel lonely as not sure where I fit in the puzzle, 🫣 learning to be alone and happy within is a start xx

Lovely to watch and love your sitting room looks so cosy. Good to see the sausages enjoying the garden and I have a dog who is nearly 16 years old and dread the thought but he sleeps a lot too now and is a bit deaf but as you say when I open his food cupboard or treat drawer there he is. :-)

Leonora you are a BEAUTIFUL PERSON INSIDE & OUT.
My Grandmother was very beautiful like my Mother but she was a smoker from early age & in her 50's she got Breast Cancer after we moved from SINGAPORE to MELBOURNE.
I was only 2 1/2 when we arrived & I recall visiting my Grandmother who I loved in hospital. I was so small I couldn't see above the bed but I could see the medical equipment under her bed draining from her removed breast.
I was scared but Nan made it & she stayed with us for a while & I can remember how she had to pad one bra cup when she dressed. This was in the 60's & my Nan lived until she was 83 years old.
My Mother & I NEVER SMOKED thank goodness because I didn't want to & I made sure Mum didn't do it. My Mother lived to 79 as she had Diabetes & she fell over one night.
I LOVE YOUR KIND WAYS of thinking to share with us your thoughts on life.
I am SO GRATEFUL for my 2 BABIES (my 2 cats) who I LOVE WITH ALL MY LIFE.
I can see how caring you are with your doggies.

Aw I can totally relate.🙁I had 5 days away from my husband n kids. I sat this trip out n stayed home with our pup. I felt so alone the first day, then realized how stress free n relaxed I felt lol. Back in the day, attending junior school i found a kitten , on the way home, so I tucked her under my school cardigan, praying my parents would let me keep her. My Mother named her Rusty, like your Pony, has she was tortoiseshell colour 🐯 . I am 5 years out from my double mastectomies! I am stage lll with 19 bad lymph nodes removed! However, I am praising God and I just survived an EF3 Texas tornado! It hit my place at 11:30 pm. I was alone! All of the barns were destroyed but I am well and my little house survived with me in a little bathroom closet praying out loud in Jesus name! Thanks for a beautiful video with all of the beauty!!!!!

I am 14 years out from a lumpectomy, stage II. Radiologist read my mammogram wrong and missed a nearly 3cm tumor so I'm thrilled to hear Leonora encourage ladies to check themselves - if not for me finding the tumor it would have gone another year before my next mammogram!! My goodness an ER3 tornado and you home alone - God was surely watching out for you - may God continue to bless you and keep you healthy! Sending you best wishes from SC, USA.

A new calve was born as the tornado tore through! Just amazing!! We press on Leonora and wonderful to see your beautiful surroundings across the pond knowing you may be praying for us! My Mother and Grandmother had breast CANCER. I've been blessed so far but always have my mammogram each year! I love all the flowers but I watched a video of the Chelsea Flower Show and it was amazing! I loved the flowers made in the shape of cherries! I like the way you worked on the roses.
