- My first ever fall decorate with me. So excited for fall decorating. I’ll be decorating my front porch to look more fall like, my dining room and my family room. I’ll also be a little Halloween decorating.
Fall 2022 is an exciting one for me and my girls and we had lots of fun decorating ❤️
I also did some extreme deep cleaning and sanitizing and hope it gives you some cleaning motivation

Oh Jodi, Donna Jean makes me miss my daughter being that age. When she waved my heart melted. God bless her. And your decorations are so beautiful. That tree...holy moly! That is absolutely gorgeous! I am so impressed with what you and the girls did. And I have to say, I love the real leaves around too. They just make it look perfect with a touch of real leaves around the other decorations. So happy that you were able to do some beautiful decorating. I will say, for someone who didn't do much decorating in the past, you are naturally very good at it and love what you've done. My daughter loves raccoons too. They are a cute animal for sure. Have a great rest of your week!

Nice to hear the virus didn't hit that hard. I love what you did in the fall theme. Porch, table and the cushions covers just love it. I'm not a big decorating girl, to much changes/stuff gif me anxiety. The best candles / oil for me all year long is apple/cinnamon. My late hubby and I were both professional bakers and loved it when fall was knocking on the door. 😘😍👋❤

My husband and I got Covid the week of my Birthday too! We had plans to go to Chicago and had to cancel our vacation! I was so disappointed but glad we are healthy now! Glad You and Donn Jean are feeling better!
A hack for the pillow covers is to size down a size so the pillow is more fluffy and not wrinkley
I'm glad that y'all are feeling better. I'm in the same boat that you are with the living room furniture. We have a leather couch and loveseat that has good bones but boy is it worn, being 25 years old. After watching your video, I ordered some slipcovers and am so happy with them! I feel like I have a new living room.

What a great fall vibe you got going on! The mums are pretty and the black cat pillow is so cute. Looks a bit like Tom except for the tail. My 18 year old cat “Fat Cat”, who is a black cat as well, passed away last week. So when I saw Tom I had a tear or two.

Have you ever thought to check out the thrift store for holiday decor (or even decor in general)? I have found such cute decor at the thrift stores. It’s fun to treasure hunt and you get to save money. Just an idea. Love your channel 💖

When I had covid twice it was both like having a little allergy...never no fever or nothing...when I got the other one was was done ...( not being nasty ) I felt like I needed a pamper on...lml fever an chills full sweats ...weak an all ...but 24 hours later IT WAS GONE .. thank god ...buy the after affects is horrible...I couldn't walk a full block with out getting tired an breathless...an it finally went away in September I got sick Jan into feb...happy you an ur daughter is feeling better

I realized I never commented on this video despite watching it last week, lol. I tend to do that if I watch a video on my tv after I get in the bed. I'm so glad you decorated for fall. It all looks so nice and cozy! I love those cute Halloween decorations that Donna Jean wanted you to keep. We love Halloween, but I have been so slow getting out my decorations. I finally put out the inflatables, but still didn't add my new spider web that I picked up. Maybe tomorrow, lol

Hope you are feeling better, We are in Worcester England,my oldest daughter spent her 18th in full lockdown and came down with Covid on her 19th, my youngest was sent home from school in isolation for her 16th and I had Covid on her 18th this yr, hopefully next yrs birthdays will be better xxxxx

Yes I’m dying to do it Lori. I actually talked about it when I made over my front yard. We have to find someone to remove the shutters off my second story. My husband begged me not to paint the downstairs and the door until we could get to the second story 😂

The nail, yep, that basket & decorative set up is exactly what I was expecting for that area.-- they often put those decorations on the side with a facade like your house has. Baskets are a great decorative tool, too. Pumpkins look great. To be honest I've seen lots of homes leave the plastic on the bales and turn the label so you don't see it-- that way they can reuse it year after year.
Front fall decor looks great. After a few years you'll start keeping what looks best and donating the extras you don't like as much. Family room by kitchen looks great. Those pillow covers are snazzy.
Like that tray. Was it expensive??
Dining room decor looks nice. Quick tip. This year collect some pretty looking leaves and pine cones even a few acorns with caps. Spray paint or clear coat each on all sides. Next year you have free decor.
Oh & the cinnamon sticks...each fall use a fine sandpaper and rub a little ( outside- it's dusty) to bring back the smell. Works for at least 10 years. Do you have any "diffusers"? Put some orange peels you dry in your oven and a cinnamon stick in with some water...all natural scents that won't hurt the kitty's. Don't have 1? That's ok. That tiny sauce pot you never use??? Fill 2/3 full of water in the morning and add peels and stick and put on lowest setting all day. Your house will smell scrumptious. ( Realtors have been doing this since at least the 60s).
Satisfying to see how much you and Donna Jean accomplished while not feeling well isn't it?!! See you next time.

Oh I LOVE your fall transformation! Fall is my favorite season, it means the holiday season is coming - and all things pumpkin spice. I wish I could decorate more like you. Hello Hello Hello, If you don't want the hay to spread everywhere (honestly, it will be sweeping it until after Christmas) you have to leave the plastic wrap that covers it, the plastic wrap that it comes with or put plastic wrap on each rectangle of hay . With that it looks the same, it looks good and it's not a mess of hay all over the porch, etc, etc.

@@jodidunnmymessylife1847 It's not too late, I learned it from a youtuber Mrs. Laura Nicolson (she keeps her house as a museum, I mean, she's the lady across the room. I´ll never achieve that level of order and organization in my life time. ) You can put kitchen plastic wrap on hay... If you want it. And then save them for next fall's decor.

Lol I used the Lysol foam toilet cleaner in the blue bottle on everything in my house, especially the bathroom. I use that and baking soda mixed all the time. Lol I don't however mix it with anything with bleach because that is where you get the toxic fumes. I'm not an expert or trying to encourage anyone to do it by no means, I didn't even realize it was a hack. Lol but I swear by It. I always say that baking soda is the one thing I would take on a desert island lol
