St. Philomena

During the reign of Emperor Diocletian, a Christian king and queen were summoned to Rome. While there, the evil emperor proposed marriage to their daughter, St. Philomena. She refused to marry him, so as to keep her promise to Christ. She endured torture and imprisonment because of her Faith and died a martyr! St. Philomena, pray for us!
