- As expected the movie had a sad ending, but i wish it ended like my video. This was such an incredible love story . Its incredible how production companies are investing in such high budget gay stories.

I’ve just finished this movie and oh boy that it moved me… this was genuinely perfect. the perfect amount of everything, wether it’s sex, looks between Roman and Sergey, sensuality, love, chemistry, etc. Everything was so beautifully written and produced! Tho I wished the end would be different, I wanna believe that it portrayed a sad, powerful, beautiful, REAL story perfectly.

@Dear You hey, may I ask you a question? I read the book but didn’t really understand how Roman died. I couldn’t tell if he died with some sickness while being with Sergey or did he commit suicide? Or was that just a dream and he actually died in the war lol?

@@alexlove9463 Does it involve one dying though? Since it involve war and all. I don't know the story behind it, but if it involve death, it's much more depressing than they both don't end up together but still live. I just hate watching gay film with death, at least it'll be more tolerable if they both live but doesn't end up together.
@@lovemoviesful2 do you know this is based of on true story so ofcourse it is likely to have a sad ending.(its about gays who couldn't be together because of how our society viewed gays. ITs the struggle they had to face for each other. And as a part of lgbtq viewer, being able able to see and feel that there were so many gay lovers who had to go though that (of course is painful and depressing to watch)but tying to be in their shoes and feel their pain (now what world had become can be a very heartbroken and lessoon learning experience from this movie. Thats all. I will tell you, it will make you deepress but it(that movie) is our truth, our history. I think every gay person should and need to see it.

Plz watch firebird and let me know how you feel (remove your mindset about having happy ending and watch it as you r watching someone's real life story which actully happened. That persion died in 2017, and also the guy who plays roman actor, never understand or speak english but he learned it for this movie and omg their acting is so good.
