What I love about Tier lists is that you never find the same opinion twice. I also released a tier list recently here in YT and I saw lots of differences. Then I realised you were talking about early game and I was focusing in general, thinking on different game modes and long term mainly 😅. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Yes, of course, thanks for watching! I thought it would be best to separate this series into multiple videos for different purposes, seeing as the early game and the late game are so different from one another. But I'll be sure to check your video out soon and do some comparing and contrasting myself!
I LOVE THIS TIER LIST!! As a person who used Athena, Izanami, Idun, G&M and TNM in early games I definitely agree. Izanami specifically has been carrying hard throughout my early game and currently also mid-game experience. As for the new character, she does somewhat damage but she doesn't really have any significant buffs I can recall, nor does she do as much damage as Izanami, TNM and G&M. But yeah her numbers are high which is why I end up using her a lot of times
Yes, I absolutely agree, and thank you so much! I based this list off of what I understand of how the early game functions, and I remember these few heroes ripping it up in Arenas. As far as the new hero goes, I'm right there with you, I don't think she has almost any buffs, debuffs or survivability passives, so I think she'll be fragile, but often do some damage. I'll still have to look into it, but again, thank you!
Thanks man! Good guide. However, (in my personal opinion) these would be the changes: 1. Anubis should be an S tear instead of Athena. In the early-mid game, he is a boss with the mummies that takes the CC and disrupt so much the enemy team, while Athena, if she survives, heals and shieldsare have too little of an impact; 2. Naga vs Idun, up until mid to late game, Idun is really an S, due to keeping you HP topped off, while Naga does not have enought stats to be a good healer/support (low A - high B); 3. TNM vs Loki. She jumps into the the enemy team and just dies... Loki creates clones that disrupt the enemy team, and verry good vs bosses. (A for TNM and S for Loki). As a disclaimer, I'm a low spender, and I've made it to mid game in like a month with only Loky and Anubis as main DPS and tank (on my 3rd account with is my main now). The rest are fine, you were generous with the B and C tears 😁 Suggestion: make a video for faction comparison😇
These are all fair conclusions to draw, and I always tell people to do what they think is best; however, a couple of these are very different from what I've seen in playing the game myself, but to be fair, I haven't been in the early game in about a year. Whatever the case, thank you for your input, and play the game however you see fit!
Archimedes on front then add odin (for buff make sure odin is max on weapon) if hes still squishy try to add persephone for debuff and passive pdr... Try to have a WQ to maximize damage
I suppose that depends on what stage of the game you're in, but a huge piece of advice would be to take out Persephone as soon as you can. I love her as a concept, but in practice she honestly does just about nothing in every team I've seen her in. No disrespect whatsoever, I just think you'll find a lot more success with another DPS or a support, maybe along the lines of Morrigan, or maybe another tank would help with survivability, perhaps YSS or Odin if you're at a decently high level? I hope this helps!
I'm starting to believe that myself. I hadn't really seen what he was capable of at the time of making this video, and I think I'm starting to come around to the idea of maining him. Thank you for the input!
Yeah, from the numbers that I saw, Murasaki has a stupid amount of AOE damage but few actual effects. I'll have to do some more looking myself before coming to a conclusion, but thank you for your input!
If we're talking about literally day one and you didn't spend a dime, then you're probably the luckiest player I've ever heard of in this game. I'm truly impressed.
just started yesterday and your videos helped alot! if i want to run a 2tank, 2dps 1 healer team, what would be the ideal 2nd tank if the 1st was athena?
"Ideal" is a tricky word because it depends on the rest of your team, namely your DPS - however, I think YSS can do some work for you, and Leonidas can act as kind of an extra minor DPS for maximum damage if you'd like to go that route. But again, I don't really have enough information to give an informed answer. I hope this helps nonetheless!
@@styxtinmythicheroes thanks for the reply! Im mainly building izanami, tamamo, susano, lucifer as dps and have both idun and naga as healers. currently i put athena and iza at the front with either 2 dps or 1 healr or 2healer 1 dps at the back. is there a better composition i can go for general pve progression?
@@Brushedhw I think the number one thing you should focus on is one or two tank heroes. Using your healer as a Frontline hero will make your team way easier to kill because their defenses are very low and all the damage of most teams is funneled primarily into the Frontline. I'd very much recommend replacing one of your healers with another tank; some good options are Hades, Poseidon, and Anubis. That change should drastically improve your survivability, I hope. Thank you for the comment and I hope this helps you!
I would say Hades carried me through the early game. He survives for so long and does pretty good damage. The Shield he gives himself is worth 200% of his attack power. And the hellhounds get 100% of his attributes accept Health at 80%. They take 45% of the health that Hades would have taken. So they help with damage and survivability.
I'm starting to see more value in Hades over time, so I definitely agree with you there. I'll have to do some more testing, but I think I'll begin to see his true power moving forward, thank you!
@@tanokie503 Absolutely, it's my pleasure! Regarding the new hero, I feel like she will probably do well for you through your gameplay, her damage numbers are shocking and what I've heard has been very positive. Of course, I don't know very much firsthand, but that's what I've been told. Hope it helps!
Hi new player here, i had a question Is there anything good you can pull from the "Rookie summon" when first starting? Or is it rigged with trash characters?
The rookie summon is only a single 10 pull, and it's guaranteed to have an SSR or better. Once you do your one pull, it goes away, I believe, and what I recommend doing is resetting the game (going through the tutorial again, making a new account and such) until you get a good hero. My first was Zeus, but I didn't know how the game worked at that time, so yeah, if you reset until you get someone decent according to this list or anyone's thoughts in these comments, you should be golden. I hope this helps!
Thor is doing pretty good for me in this early game Im on Chapter 6-29 atm. I mean i am startingto notice some flaws and concerns but so far hes not at the "let me replace you" range yet. Same with Zeus too but i guess this is still the early so I mean ill find out later i suppose lol
Zeus has some game later on as well, but unless you build the right team for him, he's very fragile. Thor, on the other hand, is kind of a brick; doesn't do much damage, but stays alive for longer than you'd like. Feel free to continue testing and formulating your own opinions!
I'd say that at the moment, the mid game is about from chapter 20 to 33; once you get past 33, the difficulty level increases drastically, and you can tell you've hit a new game period. Depending on your progression rate, however, I believe the mid game can easily start as early as chapter 15. I hope this helps you get a better understanding of where my mind was when making this list!
So I just started playing the game again, only level 35 haha. Anyway I have gotten oda, lucifer and Amaterasu (only one copy of each) should I try to build them?
I think as a side venture (which is to say, something you don't spend all your time and effort doing), building up Nobunaga casually over time will be the most worth it of them all. However, until you have the resources to adamantly gun for multiple copies of him, I would recommend focusing on your SSRs and making a balanced team so you can continue leveling up and building your roster. Hope this helps!
Thor is a rough first SSR in the early game, I'd probably recommend either resetting or going to build a DPS like Izanami, Loki, Ganjiang and Moye or Tamamo no Mae, then focusing on a healer like Idun or Nagakanya. I hope this helps!
That's actually a really well-built team. The only thing I can think is that Nobunaga can get really expensive really fast and he'll fall behind the rest of your team in power level, so if you wanted to maintain a consistent team level through your gameplay, I might recommend swapping him out for a more accessible hero until you have the resources to spend on him in the late-ish game. However, you can do whatever you'd like, and thank you for watching and commenting!
They accomplish different things in a team. Artemis is a good single target DPS that gets stronger with distance, whereas Faust deals damage over time with poison and explodes for massive AOE damage. So if you're looking for an assassin that weakens the enemy, Artemis is better, but if you want someone who will infiltrate enemy lines and explode, Faust is your guy. I hope this helps!
The best way to obtain copies of UR heroes (from what I've seen) is to save all your diamonds and wait for them to show up in the Limited Summon pool. The rates for pulling the UR you want are higher there, and I think that's the best way to go about it. Given my simple calculations, I think said Limited Summon pool is probably a little more cost effective than the Astrolabe of Fate. I hope this helps!
From what I've seen and tested, I haven't come to the same conclusion, which is okay. All of us will have different opinions on things, and I encourage you to formulate your own views. Thank you for commenting!
Interesting. I don't know much about her, but I haven't seen her do much of anything in my time playing; if you think she deserves a different spot on this list, feel free to say something!
I think hadrs deserves the a tier he is soo tanky for me and his ult is just so helpfull even killing enemies threw their shields which i pretty helpfull in the early game cause athena is a pain in the ass in the early game haha. And Loki has to be s tier if tnm is cause he is doing much more dmg and survives waaay longer than her. So to make my recommendations short i think tnm should be moved to a tier aswell as hades and loki and apollo should be s tier.
These are all fair rankings to give them. Remember, this tier list is exclusively my thoughts, and yours can be whatever you please; these are only my personal suggestions. Thank you for the input and for watching!
I'm sorry my friend, but what I said is true. Izanami is just better in my opinion. Of course, we can all have our pet heroes (Heaven knows I do), so not to worry!
I dont see how idun is good i leveled her to 80 and she literally gets one shot every single time her ult takes ages to activate and her heals is so little, idk i dont see how ppl think she is op
The biggest draw for Idun over someone like Nagakanya is the energy gain; no other healer in the game has the same level of full team energy regeneration strapped to the heals themselves, and I think leveling her up also does wonders for survivability as her apples get better with investment. I've found her to be useful for myself, as long as I make sure she isn't across from a Susanoo in Arenas. I hope you find what works for you and stick to it!
This video came out about 2 months ago, before Aphrodite was introduced to the game. However, if I were to put her somewhere on this list, I'd probably have her somewhere around A tier; her heals seem good but not stellar, but she also incorporates the charm ability that can help draw attention from your main DPS. So I think that I would preliminarily put her in A or close to it. I hope this helps!
I've found Marduk to be a shockingly effective tank that only gets better with the new update. I've been working on building him up for a while now, and I hope he continues to prove helpful!
