Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure they are supplied in case you don't have dedicated jack points on your van. They are to be welded to an appropriate location.
Much easier to drive onto leveling ramps. And for having two of these what a joke that is. Ive never ever seen anyone carring two of these one being for jacking up van just to put bits of wood under the wheels Waste of money buying a secone one for that purpose. Im sure you would love to sell two of these to a customer
Hi Mark, It can depend on how the unit is loaded, if empty for example and let’s say it’s a tandem axle each wheel which should have a shared weight between the four wheels, ie could have a 3t tare and have 750 one wheel, 730, 770 and 760 respectively, if you have a fully loaded van it can vary depending on the location and weight of items loaded.
Exactly what I was thinking. Possibly 1500kg as a dual axle van doesn’t always have a 10% ball weight. Saying “Don’t exceed jack weight limit” as he jacks up a 1 side of a 3t van 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ @outbackequipment - You are jacking from the chassis so jacking both wheels at the same time. Your girl math doesn’t work here.
left mine on while driving and the shaft worked its way down even thou the jack was closed tight

You didnt mention that you should allways have thd van connected to a vehicle when jacking van up

So if that van is 3000kg, a ball weight of 280 kg does that mean 1 side weighs 1360kgs, outside of the jacks rating?
