      It could indicate a dermatological source of infection, suggest an alternative pathology such as anaphylaxis or indicate something like meningococcal septicaemia (if non-blanching)

    LOVED it from start to finish. The way the doctor communicated with the patient and the nurse it was just exemplary. The more i learn about medicine the more I know how much I don't know. Keep up the good work

    i have been the dream to learn medical since i was young in 1997 and was always after reading medical books while in refugee camp not able to go to school where i can make true to my dreams.
    after strugle, i came to Europe hoping at least i will have the apportunity but didn't work.
    now almost get stressed and age has gone but still never stop to learn medical.
    this channel is good for me

    This was so much fun to watch. I typically feel like I sometimes oblige myself to watch medical videos just to balance out the fun and studying. But, I enjoyed this one a lot more than I initially would have expected. Thanks. I do hope that you also show more realistic versions in case for example the patient wasn't compliant, or in case there is no chief doctor available and the case is declining. What would a starting doctor have to do in such cases?

      @@Ashy5000 found the med school reject. What did you get in your GCSES? and your A levels? Let the doctors do the doctoring, and the less academically capable and less trained physician assistants do the assisting.
      We do not need PAs for anything else.

      @@Propofol1234 Never applied to med school but nice presumption. All A's at A level. Likely could have gotten into Med school, but decided to travel instead. Came back in my early 30's and instead of going through the rigmarole of doing GEM, I've decided on being a PA. Nobody is arguing that PA's are as trained as docs, because they aren't. But idiots who think they're uneducated and should be reduced to admin work do make me chuckle.

    This is absolutely amazing, few months back I got schooled about the SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessments, Reactions/Recommendations) means of communication in a healthcare setting and that absolutely what happened here. I’m overwhelmed to be an RN ❤🎉

    amazing intervention, but i have some question about how you treating the pation, on ECG there is a supra unevenness on the underside , i saw the sinus taquicardia as well but, whjat happend with the endocardial infarction seriouslly amazing, im latin nursing student and it is amazing watching this kind of videos, thank you so much

    Aren’t we supposed to auscultate the abdomen before we palpate?

      IPPA... auscultation is last.

      You should listen first as you can generate sound from disturbing it from palpating….but these videos tend to always do palpation first. This is the logic and order i was told with ambulance service anyway.

    Good stimulation indeed , but I have one question on fluid management of Septic shock because according to recent studies no more bolus to be given .
    Just immediately to start maintaince fluid or blood transfusion .
    Can someone please clarify more on this!

    Hi, I have a question for this station. I am a RN in France in a respiratory ward. As the pO2 is at 86 RR 29 wasn't it better to put the oxygen on BEFORE the assessment because of respiratory distress? (we don't assess patient so accurately in French system)

    Very informative video but I have to say where I practice from in Africa it would be extremely expensive to get all those investigations and tests at once and on time. A physical exam with minimal important tests would suffice here.

    Great work. Just one thing to remember-always auscultate BEFORE palpating the abdomen. If you palpate before listening you could hear more bowel sounds that would not have been there had it not been palpated first

    Sepsis is a new fear for me I had it in 2022 and didn’t know it most of my symptoms started at home by the time I got to the er I was dying had I not made it in time I would have died I was in icu for a week and had multiple rounds of intravenously antibiotics iam a sepsis survivor I had never heard of sepsis before and now iam at high risk of infections repeatedly after being exposed to mold for 5 years and my body has became resistant to antibiotics 😢
