Fiona Callaghan diving with Hammerhead Sharks in Seaworld Indonesia

I had this experience last year, shooting for my TV travelling programme called Pelesir in MNC TV. We had the chance to dive with the 10 Hammerhead Sharks in Seaworld Indonesia Ancol. I thought I was going to dive with my cameraman which turned out that only one person is aloud plus the Seaworld diver named Feri. So, the underwater camera was given to Feri. I thought I was going to be inside the cage diving to see those sharks, but alas it is without the cage!
This is something that I would like to share as being a TV Travel Presenter. It seems fun and amazing to be travelling everywhere in the world and being paid but there are risk and consequences during the journey that we must face sometimes. When you basically love adventure and travelling it should be no problem with you because you are passionate with what you are doing. Stress and risk will be much easier to cope. Here, I love my job as a TV Travel Presenter. I have been to many kinds of situation that makes me stronger.
In this video, I made myself brave to dive with the sharks because I use to have phobia with it. It's like a fear that never really happens in real life. So, the solutions that you will always hear is to face your own phobia or fear! And, so I did.... added with my diving experiences at the sea, sharks are lovely creatures.
The result of this diving in Seaworld Indonesia Ancol, made me learn about sharks through my personal experience and it was a test for myself to change fear into calm, peace and loving. You have to have that connection that everything is going to be alright while you adapt yourself with the sharks and vice versa. I enjoyed the dive which was around 10 minutes. And finished the documentation of what we need. I also know from them that I was the first person outside then Seaworld diver and also the first media to dive inside this Aquarium of Hammerhead Sharks. Alhamdulillah, it was a great learning experience.
