Today two pro pickleball players are facing off with two 5.0 players, but there's a catch!
Us pros are playing with smaller training paddles, while the 5.0s are at full strength. Who do you think will win?

its a good day when zane posts
This was fun to watch. Thank you.
I have and use this training paddle. Great idea for focus and hand eye speed. I can win rec games playing with this(much to the surprise of those on the court:), and then when I go back to my regular paddle - wow! Zanes opponents should be the ones using the IN FOCUS paddles😅
I love this series so much 😂😂 makes me want to try 3.5s versus 5.0s with some of these at my local club 😂😂 it’s an amazing series
Thank you! Are you on the 3.5 or the 5.0 team?
@ 3.5 😅🥲 I wish I was 5.0, maybe in a couple years! I’ve only been playing 5 months so far but I love it!
FINALLY
......Was kinda hoping to see the Lobster training paddle in action though
Maybe a future one! Any other suggestions?
@3:53 that was way out
Too close to be sure!
@@ZaneNavratilPickleball There's motion blur showing the trajectory right at 3:54. Looked pretty out lol But it's a weird spot/angle of cam. I can't say I'd be sure it was.
At least a foot out lol
im just genuinely curious how they acquired 5.4 duprs
Do you think you can beat them?
@@ZaneNavratilPickleball Not trying to sound like a douce, my rating is 5.1 and I think I would smoke them. California DUPRS just different.
Totally agree. They can’t be 5+ surelyy
@@ZaneNavratilPickleballI have a 4.9 dupr and would smoke em. Put me in coach 🙋🏽♂️
The final fantasy win sound. Classic.
What's your favorite Final Fantasy game?
@ZaneNavratilPickleball I think Seven for Playstation and 3 for super nes back in the day are my favorite. How about you Zane?
Pros vs 5.0s but the 5.0s are allowed to play volleyball (they get 2 hits to make it over instead of 1, kitchen rules still apply)
Bro we’re filming it on Thursday! Will release in March or April!!
You guys should do one where the 5.0s are allowed to serve and volley. In other words, they don’t have to let the return bounce and one person can start at the net on their serve and poach the return if they can.
We did some of that in one video but could be interesting to revisit!
The booty sweat at the end omgggggg
Should do one where they can only dropshot / reset when not at the kitchen and block during hand battles at the kitchen and only smash the ball if it is shoulder height or above
Thanks! We'll add that to the list of ideas!
What training paddle is this? I kinda wanna try it for fun
I couldn't find it from a google search so it's safe to assume it's some random knock off from Amazon or something. I can't imagine with him being a proXR signed athlete he'd use a big name training paddle for a youtube video.
Focus training paddle I have one and they are great. TH-cam won't let me link it.
YT chat accept the numbers from an objective rating system challenge, difficulty: impossible
Yall should play with those 2 for $20 paddles from like walmart too. The wood ones.
You think I have that kinda money?
Another idea - the pros are only allowed to drop on their serve. They’re not allowed to drive the 3rd, 5th, etc.
Thanks for the ideas! Keep them coming!
0-0-2!
Rally scoring in this one, actually!
Damn not Jack with the higher doubles DUPR over Zane!
Not for long!
Want proof of how dumb DUPR is? Jack Munro has a higher DUPR doubles rating than Zane Navratil. No question Jack is in the top echelon, but Zane has decent results against consistently better competition. Jack has better results, against lesser competition.
Takeaway? Sandbag as much as possible for better DUPR scores.
Wanna know how dumb DUPR is? These challengers have 5.4 duprs…
Who would win in skinny singles me vs Jack?
The guy in the red isn’t a 4.0. His footwork is abysmal.
He's definitely not 5.4 but you should watch some 4.0s play. You can have horrendous footwork and still be decent.
I don’t know what to tell you guys, he’s literally DUPR-rated 5.4 - and that’s a objective results based rating - not vague vibes from watching footage of him playing against literally some of the best players in the world. People are going to look way worse against better players.
If he were to play against some 4.0, he’d probably look way better.
Holy shit you are smoking crack if you dont think he’s 4.0
@@boezousorry. I’m a 4.25 and he’d get wiped off the court by the 4.0ish players I regularly play with. He was out of position the majority of the match.
Do you think he could win a 4.5 tournament?
those are some doodoo training paddles lmao
What are some better ones?
Pros wear pirate eye patches against 5.0s.. my 5.0 friend and I will beat you!
how are these guys 5.4 dupr?
it can be manipulated pretty easily if you're in an area with low skilled players. If a tourney organizes a 5.0 bracket and only guys at a 3.5 level sign up for it, they're all going to look like they're 5.0 if you're only reading the dupr page. Now imagine the same 3.5 level players signing up for 5.0 tourneys for years and have dupr sessions where they trade wins and you've got a high trust factor 5.3 that would get smoked by the 4.0s from a different city.
@@sallad2645perfectly said
What level should they play in tournaments?
@@ZaneNavratilPickleball 4.0
4.0 @@ZaneNavratilPickleball
If those guys are 5.0 i must be borderline pro😂😭
What level tournament do you think they should play?
audio isnt synced but no b iggie
Thanks!
@Zane... may be you would be interested to feature on your content like this my innovative idea called Out Call Line Solution...by putting my foam tape around the court lines? This will determine the obvious out calls whenever the ball lands on it. Let me know I'll send you my foam tape material to use. This would lessen challenge calls with high tech cameras. LMK
Wouldn't u step on it tho, which can make u slip?
Interesting idea! How often does it have to be replaced?
@ZaneNavratilPickleball ive asked a photo with you in San Clemente during Orlando Squeeze Finals. Anyway, it can last for months...as I placed one on my front porch floor 6 months ago and it is still intact. Let me know if you wanna feature it...while playing your games at the Lab. And your comments will be greatly appreciated. Lmk where to send it.
It will grip on the sole of the rubber shoes. It is very seldom players stepping-on the court outlines. This will solve the hooking problems with the pros and amateurs in most affordable manner...and organizers can apply this foam tape on all courts during amateur tournaments!
The 4.5's I play are better than those two.
What level tournament do you think these guys could win?
@@Mike-ki7zt if the 4.5s you play with are merely better then I’d hate to see what the 4.0s where I play would do to you
@@ZaneNavratilPickleballthis is a good question. What level do they think we have already won is a better question😂
I was that guy on the last video and I’m gonna be that guy again…there ain’t no way these guys are 5.4’s 😂 I’m sorry. The footwork and overall form with red shirt was a nightmare. And white shirt had really weird decision making. Especially on game point. A step back slice fourth?? Why??
Do you think you can beat them?
@ Game of skinnies I beat the guy in the red shirt probably 11-6. White shirt is unorthodox so I have no idea what score line of that would be 😂. I play around a 5.0 level
Thank you. I don't know the guy in red. Have never played against him. I regularly play with 4.25+ players and he would be in over his head with all of them. It's hard to find one element of his game that is even close to 5.0 yet alone 5.4.
Jack even said, "you need to fix his footwork". Not something you would even hear said about a 5.4.
