Can I just say, I am SO glad they took Cesar into the group! His sweet voice just gets me, every time!
Fun fact: Rachel Potter was the understudy for the part of Glinda on Broadway. So I think it’s really cool for her to come right back to Wicked with VoicePlay.
Geoff put a lot of work and time into this arrangement; his creativity sure paid off!! And everybody acted to perfection! Eli holds the title as the king of riffs (and lights coordination), Layne's beatboxing was marvelous, Emoni and Cesar go real well together, Rachel is outstanding, as always, and Geoff, I can't find words good enough for him, he's the bestest there is! 😍🤯🔥👍💗🙏🎶

And she also was with them when they were on tour after a contest they were in. She sings with them Love on Top.
A fabulous Broadway musical, Geoff spending years working on this, an extremely talented a cappella group, and two powerhouse guest stars....perfection. This better get a dang award!

The Sing-off was with Honey not Emoni. She did tour with them for the Sing off tour that came after though. She sang in the group Ten who if I remember correctly came in second to HF.
So glad this one knocked you out! I’ve watched this so many times now it’s looking obsessive. Geoff has just done such a brilliant arrangement everyone gets to showcase their best. Eli always kills the riffs, Cesar’s voice is a joy, Layne sounds amazing, Geoff’s being Geoff 😍, Emoni is incredible (she’s with them on The Bones from last year too) and Rachel, she’s been guesting since 2013 & her voice just keeps getting better every time. Love this & I’ve never even seen the show
Emoni has also guested with voiceplay in other much older projects. You should check out "i cant believe it" from back when Earl and Tony were still with voiceplay.

I read that Emoni works as a background singer for Lauren Daigle. Emoni is also prominently featured together with former Voiceplay member Mykal Kilgore and some former and recent members of Home Free on Cris Rupp's channel in an a capella cover of "Are you ready for a miracle".

This is like the 10th video Rachel has done with them. They should just make her officially part of the group.
They did ask her but at the time she lived on the west coast with her husband and her new baby. She recently moved to New York City to do Broadway shows. She was a stand in for the lead in Wicked. So we might get to see a lot more of her. I would love her to be a permanent member of the group.

Not that video- that was Honey Larochelle. Emoni was also on the Sing Off tour, as well as being featured in those two songs you mentioned and I Can't Believe It and I Love Me. although Honey performed with them on the actual Sing Off tv shows.
Its so funny. I feel like I reacted so differently than many reactors. I was so engrossed by Layne's absolutely outrageous beatboxing that I didn't even fully appreciate the harmonies until I listened to it a few times. Just so much amazing in this song.

Peter Hollens and Nick Pitera did a medley of Wicked as well. That also have a different version on each of their channels. Only difference is who does the last song.
