So far, I have used AR glasses from all the major players like XREAL, Viture, Rokid, and RayNeo. With that experience, I've made a video based solely on my opinion and experience. I appreciate your support. 🙏🏾
There are a few things that I don't like about the XReal One. 1. With the prescription lens insert on, the glasses can't fold flat, the arms would push onto the lens which seems like a bad design. 2. The case is terrible, it can't stand up when opened and there's no separation with the cable, I have to pad 2 sets of microfiber cloth in between just to prevent scratches and it barely closes 3. The nose pad is a step down from the previous version imo, when I tried to replace it following their tutorial, I had to yank it out hard, I felt like I was going to break it, the previous design was fine so not sure why they ended up changing it.
great detailed comparison of less talked about features, such as glasses! i think having the diopters might be the issue it's blurry, my glasses get less clear the further away from center. i don't think there are inexpensive wrap around glasses yet! lol i just clicked the buy now on Amazon last light, i would have like to clicked from your link. the xreal one seems like the expected base product i always wanted, contained virtual screen. no extra app or accessories, and possibly more private? i rarely used the nreal air 1 and didn't even open the original nreal dev kit lol.
Great video, where did you get the adapter to charge and connect the glasses at the same time?I also wanted to ask you, do you recommend the X Real One Pro or the regular ones?
@cesarorozco7979 viture's spacewalker seems to be the best so far when using a pc software, but xreal one for a striaght plug and play since it's the only one with native 3dof and ultrawide mode.
Hay love your video's. I have a pair of Xreal Air glasses, not the air 2's or better just the Air. My question is are the ( XReal One ) hinge better on there glasses improved & are the arms stronger ? The Air left side 1/4" into the black section always brakes, after month of use. Even when treating them with care.
would you be able to share some negatives that could potentially be dealbreaker for someone looking to try these as monitor replacements due to limited desk space?
@Qibbles for one, only the xreal one gives you an ultrawide display native in the glasses, second is while the one does have a 50° fov, it's still not as immersive as a vr, and wearing a screen on your face can fatiguing overtime. But i wear mine on average 8hrs a day. Also if you get anything other than the xreal one, then you'll have to run a pc software and so far none of them is very stable and very power consuming.
Magnetic connector even though is proprietary is much safer in preventing damage to the glasses. If there is an accident it simply disconnect instead of breaking the connection port.
@@great-thought I've been using xr glasses for years now and never had a single connection port issues, but the magnetic connection disconnects too easy and ruins my experience every time. It's not as simple as just connecting it back, you have to set up everything again.
@mthomaspeter thank you... In XR glasses, IPD settings compensate for differences in width of the eyes to the nose in each individual, while diopters compesates for near or far sightedness. You can google for longer details and explanations.
@Beansyboy221 i asked my group chat about this and this is what i was told. "It depends on the adaptor. The Xreal glasses themselves support 120Hz at 1080p. SBS mode they support up to 90Hz, I'm not sure about 120Hz in SBS mode. But, the adaptor has to support the bandwidth, color gamut, and refresh rate. Not all do. This is one of the reasons I recommend the Fairikabe HDMI to USB-C adaptor cable (with a female usb-c coupler).
Technically only the xreal one and one pro, but you have to buy the modular camera separately for $100. Though comes in the box if you pre-order the pro
When you connected the dji osmo pocket to the glasses, could you see the video from the osmo as youbwere previewing and recording.. that would be amazing, I didnt consider using the xreals as a live monitor for the dji pocket.
@davidalexander3066 no there's no video output just audio. What i typically do is connect my glasses to the beam pro and to display the video from dji mimo app. Works flawlessly.
@KingKola_ thank you, I can similarly connect the glasses to my phone and open the mimo app on my phone and see the camera display on the glasses. Keep up the good work. I just ordered the xreal one.
I'm getting my Xreal Ones tomorrow. I love the idea of 3dof for anything I plug it into. I'm confused about the camera, though. That's just for sharing on social media with your surroundings mixed in? I feel like I would be paying $100. to advertise for a company i'm not employed by. Lol.
@@MobileDecay yeah I'm not quite clear on that as well, xreal did say they could potentially add more features to it besides just sharing, but not clear on that, another reason I need to get my hands on them and see for myself.
I am looking for xr glasses to replace my meta quest 3 with immersed. I came across your channel while searching for information on various models and I have to thank you so much because You are the only one who gives so much information on the different manufacturers. 🙏🏼 In addition, I particularly appreciate that you are as interested as I am in productivity which is the most important point for me.Speaking of which, could you please make a test video of the Space Walker client on Windows? 🙏🏼 Congratulations on your work, keep it up 💪🏼
@schousky7712 thank you, i actually did record record a video on space walker that was supposed to be included in this video, but it was getting too long so i decided i'm gonna make a video of it by itself.
Not on the newest pro xr, maybe on the previous version? I know viture took away a couple of things because they said it wasn't up to the standards they hope but planned to polish and bring them back in the future. This new pro is listed with a fixed IPD of 57.5-69.5mm on their site, which is pretty much the standard.
The best is not much longer to come. Xreal Air 2 Ultra together with SpaceOS by Sightful is the best for productivity by far. Sightful launches their software to consumers in 4 weeks. And Viture Pro XR together with the upcoming Neckband Pro is also just amazing and will blow your mind. I guess the Xreal One Pros will also be very good but I have not tested them yet. Love your channel. Keep up the great work!

@@AVo-gj7my well right now even the xreal one is superior to the viture pro xr, so xreal one pro will be too incomparable. Rokid max 2 will be closer to the viture, but then again even the rokid have a 50 degree fov compared to 46 on the viture.
