Chief among their concerns is the significant influence Western nations wield in key international organizations and decision-making processes. These countries believe that the current UN framework does not adequately represent their interests and viewpoints. Consequently, the BRICS nations are pushing for a more democratic and inclusive structure within the UN.
For instance, during the recent BRICS summit, there were calls for comprehensive reform of the UN to ensure greater involvement of emerging nations, including a re-evaluation of the Security Council's composition and the veto power held by the permanent members.

There should not be too many of them and you are right - they must represent all regions of the world. That's why I picked the most populous nation of South Asia in India, the world's third economy, the largest nation of Latin America in Brazil, the largest economy of the Middle East in Turkey, the most dynamic economy of the Far East and the largest Muslim country in Indonesia and the most robust African economy in South Africa. They should at least add these five nations to the UNSC for a start just as the first step. I agree that Africa needs to have at least three countries in the UNSC - maybe Nigeria and Egypt - or maybe you can suggest some other nations. BRICS should not continue under the old system as it is corrupt to the core and inheriting that system would mean to inadvertently inheriting the disadvantages too. It is better to start a new one and distribute these institutions or bodies across the member nations according to the strength pocessed by each of these nation in terms technology , man power, location and other such similar advantages and more importantly giving a sense of belonging and commitment to each of those member states instead putting all of them in one place.

I feel this last eight months have confirmed what has become increasingly evident since the invasion of Iraq that the UN had a problem keeping the western world in any secure attitude towards peace and human rights. Our world is in a dreadful state with various countries been left devastated, millions fleeing needing rehomed and many countries struggling to cope. It is essential that we begin at some stage to use systems based wholly in justice, peace and the right of all peoples to live in safety and freedom, if we cannot manage this then we are doomed to constant conflict, discontent and powerful countries taking over.
If Brics were truly concerned about human rights then they need to come clean with the current Indian government despicable treatment of the indigenous Christian and MusIm minorities in his country.
