True! I had not thought of a couple of those. Unfortunately, they cannot change villager behavior. The addon makers need to ensure that their content is compatible. Editing villager behavior could cause conflicts. Imagine they made the villagers run indoors from sandstorms but another addon made them attempt to do something different at the same time and they just get bugged out!
The sand and snow is of course doable, in a similar way to the earthquake removing blocks. I think that would make a great addition and I would not be surprised that they will see your comment and add that feature.
Are the tornados destructive? It was difficult to tell since you were caught in it the whole time lol. Also, would having mob griefing off stop the disasters from destroying everything? I like the idea of dangerous weather but not so much having my castle and all the terrain jacked up constantly
@@anxiouselden1133 I saw elsewhere that turning off monster griefing, fire spreads, and tnt explodes will stop the destruction. I bought it and tested myself - earthquakes still create ravines, as expected tbh, and acid rain/lightning storms still destroy tops of trees. Other than that it leaves things intact

Each effect needs a distance limit makes no sense for it to be snowing while I'm in the desert & it follows you & should be triggered by pressure plates as well.
I had not thought of that! Lots of java mods have temperature bars. It would have fit in nicely with this addon. Maybe some items to cope with the disasters too, like goggles for sandstorms or wooly jackets for blizzard.
For the snowstorm, does anyone know if snow piles up like it does when it normally snows in Minecraft? And does the snowstorm’s freezing effect, effect mobs like animals and villagers? Because whether or not I buy this is heavily impacted by these answers.

I find it silly how easily these items can be crafted. It’s very OP.

I think this is the intensive and immersive add-on, spark has ever created so far!
Spark makes some pretty cool stuff but this one certainly is intense! Great visuals and sound effects.

The snow doesn’t pile up sadly, but I don’t know if mobs get affected by the freezing effect.

Yes they do! 😀 You can change how often they happen with the Disaster Controller or you can spawn them yourself with the items.
