I just got an original from 1982 the other day. I was so excited opening the box and seeing it. I don't care that it has missing tabs and isn't perfect. It survived since 1982 and now I have the responsibility to care for it.
Thank You for watching. Yes, it is a great price for this repro. Just 50 bucks on ebay instead of paying 500 for a real one. I hope you enjoy the channel. Yo Joe!
Yes, you have had way more of them than l as a collector. Your vintage collection was massive and l bet you had lots of those 70s cardboard ones. Thank you Goji 😊
@@jedi69outcast there is one on Etsy. I have already talked to the guy and he gave me another guy who is going to print it out for me. It looks amazing.
That set was rad. My buddy had it when we were kids. It was Sears only right? It is pretty silly how expensive it is now. I guess it is super rare as the cardboard doesn't stand the test of time well. Very cool set nice pick up!
Yeah, I'm almost certain it was Sears. Sears had some really cool exclusives for Star Wars and GIJoe back then. The only one that I ever got was the early Bridge Layer in 1984, which was issued the next year for wide release.
@@MrAvenger1975 its wild that Sears of all places had some many exclusives back in the day. They had those red colored HISS and Missile Launcher system. Those 80s exclusives!
Yes, Sears. I remember looking at it in the catalog in 82. Sears really had some cool Joe exclusives for sure. The red Cobra Crimson attack tank was my favorite.
Yes! I am stoked you picked up one of these, Dave. They are so cool. It's going to look awesome in The Pit when all set up. Can never go wrong with Hammer and The Miami Vice tunes, either. Great video.
DAVE C!!! I miss our chats buddy. Hope you're doing well. The play set is a nice looking replica. Wouldn't mind picking one of these up myself. Where'd it come from?
Cardboard playsets are highly underrated. Nice pick up, have fun assembling it!
That playset looks sweet!

That's really cool Dave. Have fun putting that together can't wait to see it all completed. I'm happy to see a video from you again. Yo Joe Buddy.
